G-Dragon joins Disney for ‘Toy Story’ collaboration with new fashion and lifestyle collection

is a heartwarming triumph</strong></a></div><p>Disney Korea also underscored the importance of the project, noting that it marks a historic first for the entertainment giant in collaborating with a K-pop artist on a project of this scale. </p><p>“The project is particularly noteworthy as Disney&#x27;s first initiative to co-create an end-to-end collaboration with a K-pop artist that spans not only product development but also the retail experience, with plans to roll it out across the Asia-Pacific region,” the company added. </p><p>The collection is set to launch in more than 10 major cities across Asia, including Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Shanghai. </p><p>Featuring over 70 different items, the collection spans a wide range of products, including collectible figures, plush toys, fashion pieces, lifestyle merchandise, and mobile accessories. </p><p>The lineup also introduces exclusive artwork combining PEACEMINUSONE’s signature design elements, particularly its recognizable daisy motif, with beloved <em>Toy Story</em> characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Alien, Rex, and Forky. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe class="instagram-media instagram-media-rendered" id="instagram-embed-19" src="https://www.instagram.com/p/DZ4JhV7FAZg/embed/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=642&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fod2-workbench-web.abs-cbn.com&amp;rp=%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A19%2C%22os%22%3A10410954.700000048%2C%22ls%22%3A150340.70000004768%2C%22le%22%3A151168.29999995232%7D" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="920" data-instgrm-payload-id="instagram-media-payload-19" scrolling="no" style="background:white;max-width:658px;width:calc(100% - 2px);border-radius:3px;border:1px solid rgb(219, 219, 219);box-shadow:none;display:block;margin:0px 0px 12px;min-width:326px;padding:0px"></iframe></div><script async="" src="https://www.instagram.com/embed.js"></script><div><br/></div><p>Beginning July 1, fans will be able to experience the collection through a dedicated pop-up event opening in Seongsu, Seoul.  </p><p>Designed to fully bring the collaboration’s concept to life, the first floor of the pop-up store recreates the nostalgic atmosphere of a childhood bedroom, complete with silhouettes of Woody and Buzz Lightyear as part of the immersive display. </p><p>Meanwhile, the second floor will showcase the complete The First Fan collection, allowing visitors to browse and purchase the products directly on-site. </p><p>The collaboration arrives shortly after the release of <em>Toy Story 5</em> earlier this week. </p><p>The fifth installment marks the first new chapter in the franchise and follows the now well-worn toys as they continue life with their current owner, Bonnie, while facing a new challenge brought by a growing technology-driven world that has led to children increasingly neglecting traditional toys in favor of modern digital entertainment.</p>
