EXCLUSIVE: Tate Myron reveals what Filipino fans might be surprised to learn about him

<p>As Thai entertainment continues to enjoy strong support from Filipino audiences, rising Thai-British actor Tate Myron is steadily building his own connection with local fans and now, he is giving them a glimpse of the person he is when the cameras are off. </p><p>Fresh off being named the newest youth ambassador of IAM Worldwide, Tate sat down with <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong> where he candidly shared more about his personal interests, his values, and the things that help him stay grounded while navigating the fast-paced entertainment industry. </p><p>Asked what Filipinos might be surprised to learn about him beyond the roles they see onscreen, Tate proved that despite his rising star status, he is just like everyone else and finds comfort in life’s simplest routines.  </p><p>“I sleep a lot!&quot; he lightheartedly expressed. &quot;Lately, I’ve been very into my sleep. I like to play the guitar, and I like to play the piano,&quot; he shared. “I play in my personal free time, during my off time.&quot; </p><p>True to his love for music, Tate has shared this side of himself even before his rise in Thailand’s entertainment scene. I have so much admiration for people who can write [songs]. But I love singing. I call my dad pretty much every day just to give an update on what’s going on, like how we are. And spending time with yourself and with your friends is also super important. I think that sometimes, especially working in this industry, you can get so caught up in the busy schedule and meeting so many people that sometimes you forget that those relationships are super important for yourself too.” </p><p>“I try to prioritize that whenever I can,&quot; he said.  </p><p>As Tate begins reaching more Filipino audiences, he was also asked which local actor or actress he hopes to meet someday and potentially collaborate with. </p><p>Rather than naming just one, the Thai-British star said he has been amazed by the talent he has already seen in the Philippines and is open to working with anyone should the opportunity come. </p><p>“Just being in the car and looking around and seeing all the billboards, I’ve seen that there are so many really, really amazing looking people in the Philippines. So to me, I’m still super new and just really ready to work with these many people as possible or any opportunity presents itself.”  </p><p>At just 22 years old, Tate has quickly become one of Thailand’s rising young stars after gaining widespread recognition for portraying Police Captain M.L. Ronnajak Juthathep in the hit drama series <em>Dhevaprom: Jaipisut. </em></p><p>With his growing popularity across Asia, the actor continues to expand not only as a performer, but also as a young personality hoping to inspire others through wellness, discipline, and authenticity.</p>
