EXCLUSIVE: Shanaia Gomez reveals why she was starstruck by Heart Evangelista during the ABS-CBN Ball

It was the spring formal so of course dapat may pastels and may mga flowers. Yeah, and I just really liked how the colors like complemented my skin tone. And I dyed my hair dark for this para lalo mag-pop (yung overall look). But yeah, so it was just really all about youthfulness but still remaining like timelessly classy,” she shared.</p><p>Shanaia also shared how she completely trusted her styling team throughout the process.</p><p>“I really trusted EJ and Patty with this. They gave me what they wanted and I gave my inputs on it. Pwede, can we add this? What about if we do some of this? So, it was hands-on in that way. But the original design of the dress and yung pagganyan and the fit of it was really all their idea. Kasi with me, I&#x27;ve been working with Patty for how many years now and I feel like she has the eye,” she said.</p><p>The singer-actress went on: “She&#x27;s been doing so many ABS-CBN balls. So, feeling ko she really knows what the ball is about, what would stand out, what would be the perfect look for me, especially in my body. That&#x27;s one of my favorite things about ABS events is that we really just get to be connected as a family. We&#x27;re a family! And be connected with all the other artists and just really have a moment where we&#x27;re all there together and we get to bond, get to dance, sing along with music and we all look great,” she expressed.</p><p>But if there was one celebrity who stood out to her the most, it was definitely her idol, actress, and fashion icon Heart Evangelista.</p><p>“As in before we did this interview, I just saw her Heart Evangelista walk past. And my gosh, so... Di ko siya close pero I was just so starstruck to see her. Di ko na-expect na papunta siya dito, na she would be walking past me like in that moment. Kaya na-starstruck ako,” Shanaia told PUSH ABS-CBN.</p><p>She added how amazed she was by how stunning Heart looked in person: “Ang ganda niya. She&#x27;s like a living doll. I&#x27;m not really the type of person to like avidly fan but I&#x27;ve always been a fan of her and her outfits. And I don&#x27;t know, just like something about her so mesmerizing. Parang she&#x27;s herself but she&#x27;s so mesmerizing and she&#x27;s so fashionable.”</p>
