A deal was formally signed by PMPC Star Awards Inc. with Revival King Jojo Mendrez to produce the organization&#x27;s two main award shows, the Star Awards for Television and the Star Awards for Movies.The agreement between PMPC Star Awards Inc. and Jojo Mendrez was formally signed at Supersam Restaurant, ushering in a new era for the award-giving organization.Present during the signing were PMPC president Fernan de Guzman, vice president Rodel Fernando, and Atty. Pauline Dolor Apostol Advincula, alongside other officers and board members of the organization.Overwhelmed with gratitude, the club’s president expressed his delight over the partnership, noting that the organization is now assured of a strong and smooth production for its upcoming Star Awards for Movies and Star Awards for Television under Mendrez’s capable leadership.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1771803900364image0 (2).jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-dragging" width="960"/></div>Mendrez has prior experience in production. Despite his accomplishments, he has kept a quiet profile.For his part, Mendrez expressed his enthusiasm for assuming the role. Having acknowledged and honored Filipino talent in film and television for decades, he underscored his conviction in the club&#x27;s standards and reputation. He went on to say that cooperation and mutual dedication will be necessary for success.The Revival King also announced his most recent revival single, &quot;Valentine,&quot; which was first made popular by Jim Brickman and Martina McBride.He was also asked about concerns previously associated with him, particularly those concerning actor Mark Herras. With grace, he offered his best wishes for Herras and hoped for his recovery from whatever obstacles he was currently enduring. He offered his perspective about emotional issues being shown publicly:“If you want to cry, cry in private because people have different types of reactions — it could do good or bad, and sometimes lead to things that are even more hurtful,” he said.Mendrez further stated that he is not forcing Herras to settle any financial commitments, given his current circumstances. He even expressed a willingness to invite Herras to one of the awards ceremonies.PMPC Star Awards Inc. is made up of entertainment journalists from the Philippine industry, whose membership has expanded from print journalism to broadcast media in radio and television, and now includes bloggers.
