Handout</div>Puregold officially launched its 2026 Hakot Relay series in Iloilo, delivering a high-energy first leg while offering real value to communities throughout the Visayas.Held last April 25 along Iloilo Sunset Boulevard, Puregold&#x27;s Hakot Relay Iloilo combined its signature race experience with live performances from Pinoy hip-hop superstars Skusta Clee and Flow G. As the first of three nationwide stops, the Iloilo leg signaled a more expansive rollout for the Hakot Relay in 2026.Participants from across the region, including Bacolod, Cebu, Antique, and other regions of Panay, traveled to Iloilo to participate in the events. For many, the experience extended beyond participation, providing an opportunity to get necessary groceries at a time when rising fuel costs and growing prices of common commodities continue to strain household budgets.Vincent Co, president of Puregold Price Club Inc., stated that the project demonstrates the brand&#x27;s ongoing commitment to developing community-driven programs that assist Filipino families.&quot;We want to create experiences that bring people together while also delivering real value to our communities — something that reflects what Puregold stands for. Race waves, loot stations, and on-ground activations were well-organized, allowing participants to completely engage with both the activity and its greater purpose.Runners received finisher&#x27;s medals, shopping bags, and exclusive event products at the finish line, with some waves receiving surprise item drops along the way. More than event handouts, these take-home goods provided participants with useful resources for their houses in the coming months.With upcoming legs in South Luzon and Metro Manila, the Puregold Hakot Relay 2026 expands its reach to additional communities, providing a panalo experience that brings people together while reacting to the daily realities of Filipino households.
