Na-miss namin tumugtog na sabay-sabay at tugtugin din &#x27;yung mga songs na part talaga ng journey namin, part din ng life namin. So, babalikan natin &#x27;yun,” she said.Bassist Rommel Dela Cruz described the reunion as a natural progression for the band, saying their return felt organic rather than planned.“Parang may natural cycle yata &#x27;yung mga banda recently. And parang doon papunta &#x27;yung agos. Very organic. Meron akong kanta na hindi ko pa natapos. Ngayon ko lang siya natapos after all those years,” he said.According to the band, the comeback concert came about after they began casually recording music together again. The idea eventually evolved into a larger project that includes the release of a new EP.“May nag-offer na bakit hindi natin isabay &#x27;yung release ng EP to a concert,” Almalbis recalled.Almalbis also expressed excitement not only about reconnecting with longtime fans but also about returning to an OPM scene she believes is thriving creatively.<div>&#x27;VIBRANT&#x27; OPM SCENE</div>“Sobrang vibrant talaga ng scene ngayon. Appreciate namin how OPM has evolved. Kung paano ka-free &#x27;yung mga tao gumawa ng music nila kahit anong genre. Nakaka-inspire sila &#x27;pag napapakinggan mo &#x27;yung bagong sounds na nagagawa nila,” she said.Almalbis added that the band remains open to collaborating with younger artists, saying such partnerships offer opportunities to both learn and have fun. While she teased the possibility of special guests during the concert, she declined to reveal details.“Maraming nakaka-inspire na young artists. Kahit sino sa kanila gusto naming maka-collab. Surprise na lang,” she said.Leading the band’s new chapter is “Emergency,” the first single from their upcoming EP.Guitarist Kakoy Legaspi, who wrote the song, described it as an “existential satire” inspired by his own life experiences.“I wrote it when I was in my 20s as my quarter-life crisis song. Now, midlife crisis song ko na siya,” he joked.Legaspi explained that the song explores the challenge of making sense of life amid constant distractions, particularly in the digital age.“The song is about how to make sense of it, especially when you’re on your phone,” he said.
