Dennis Trillo reveals what films he wants to produce

<p>After successful producing their first film project <em>Green Bones</em> under his production company BrightBurn Entertainment last year (which also won the film numerous awards including the much coveted Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture title), Dennis Trillo said he is excited to look into producing more quality film projects starting this year.</p><p>“Marami na ring nag-pi-pitch sa amin. For sure, maghahanap kami ng mga out-of-the-box stories. For sure may mga indie at mainstream din. Ayaw naman namin i-limit yung sarili namin sa mga indie dahil siyempre, business pa din siya eh and kailangan namin mag-mainstream. In a previous interview, he shared how he is getting more comfortable wearing a producer’s hat.</p><p>“<em>Ngayon, masaya kami na yung mga ideas namin, na-vo-voice out na namin at na-ma-materialize namin into projects na noon pa namin gusto gawin na hindi namin nagawa nung mga artista pa kami. So ito yung parang naging chance din namin na mangyari yung mga gusto naming mangyari na projects na dati pa namin na-e-envision. Siyempre ngayon, pare-pareho kaming nagsisimula pa lang kami sa kumpanya namin. He shared in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN, “<em>Hindi impossible. Noon ko pa naiisip ‘yung pagdidirek pero siyempre ayokong madaliin dahil maraming kailangan pag-aralan. ‘Yun, tuluy-tuloy lang ‘yung pag-aaral until maramdaman ko siguro makakuha ng tamang project para ‘dun sa first directorial job</em>.”</p><p>Dennis was first launched in show business as part of the ABS-CBN Talent Center’s Star Circle Batch 10 in 2001 along with fellow artists Bea Alonzo, Alfred Vargas, Nadine Samonte, TJ Trinidad, Michelle Ayalde, and Robbie Mananquil, among others.</p><p>Prior to acting, he was a member of a Baguio-based bands like Moyg and DIY. He most recently won MMFF Best Actor for his moving portrayal of inmate Domingo Zamora in the 2024 prison drama film <em>Green Bones. </em></p>
