<p>What happens when 17 children suddenly leave their homes in the middle of the night? </p><p>This is the hook for Zach Cregger&#x27;s new horror movie &quot;Weapons”, which comes out in cinemas in August 2025.</p><p>In the movie, the small town of Maybrook is rocked by the disappearance of 17 children who all left their homes at exactly 2:17 a.m. without being forced or abducted. All but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time. </p><p>&quot;Weapons&quot; stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.</p><p>Cregger,  the wholly original mind behind “Barbarian”, directs from his own screenplay, and also produces alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D.
