<p>Get ready as the third season of hit Korean Drama, <em>Squid Game</em>, takes center stage this coming June 27. This comes after a successful second season where viewers got hooked on the new games and new characters.</p><div><iframe width="1282" height="721" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/c3uikhzzo8s" title="Squid Game: Season 3 | Official Teaser | Netflix" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>The teaser for the upcoming season of <em>Squid Game</em> was released earlier this morning, May 6, on the official social media accounts of Netflix.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2024/8/1/netflix-announces-squid-game-to-conclude-with-season-3-in-2025-908"><strong>READ: Netflix announces ‘Squid Game’ to conclude with season 3 in 2025</strong></a></div><p>“It’s time to play the final games,” Netflix wrote in their caption.</p><p>Season three of the hit Netflix show will be starting from last season’s aftermath and cliffhanger–– the failed rebellion, various deaths, and a betrayal. Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) will be forced to make some choices that will not only affect him but everyone who’s still in the game.</p><p>In the teaser, a new game was introduced which sparked the interest of the viewers. A gumball machine which could be a determining factor on what would happen next to the remaining players of the game.</p><p>Cast members from the second season were also spotted in the teaser–– Kim Jun-hee (played by Jo Yu-ri), Kang Dae-ho (portrayed by Kang Ha-neul), The Frontman (Lee Byung-hun), and Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), among others.</p><p>Fans of the hit Korean Netflix series expressed their excitement in the comment section. It became one of Netflix’s most watched shows on its platform and has asserted its dominance in viewership in several countries.</p><p>The show will still be directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who previously became the first Asian to win the Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series at the 74th Primetime Emmys. </p>
