<p>Kapamilya actress Charo Santos had nothing but praises for award-winning film director Irene Villamor for their latest Star Cinema film, <em>Only We Know</em>. Irene not only directed the highly-anticipated film but wrote it as well–– something Charo is very grateful for.</p><p>“It takes courage to tell a story like this. Direk @ayrin gave this film its heart. Maraming salamat, Direk, for letting silence speak and for trusting the quiet power of emotion,” she wrote.</p><p>Meanwhile, her co-star in the film, Dingdong, previously shared how he was able to see the “brilliance” of the film director up close once more. They previously worked in the 2018 romantic drama film, <em>Sid &amp; Aya: Not a Love Story. </em></p><p>“Watching her direct the whole film (and especially this scene with Ma’am Charo) was like watching magic unfold right in front of us,” Dingdong wrote.</p><p>Like Charo, the Kapuso star expressed his gratitude for letting them be part of a story that’s “honest and powerful.”</p><p>“Salamat, Direk, for your vision, your grit, and for letting us be part of something this honest and powerful. The two deal with loneliness and judgment as they question if their connection could evolve into something more meaningful. </p><p>The film also stars Shamaine Buencamino, Al Tantay, Max Collins, Joel Saracho, Johnny Revilla, and Rafa Siguion-Reyna, among others. </p>
