Ganiel Krishan, ABS-CBN News </div>MANILA -- Veteran actress Charo Santos is set to reunite with her global Kapamilya fans as she flew to Toronto, Canada Wednesday, ahead of the North America special screenings of her new movie “Only We Know,” co-starring Dingdong Dantes.Toronto marks the first stop of the film’s international tour, with scheduled meet-and-greet sessions and block screenings on June 20 and 21 at Cineplex Scarborough Town Center.“Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng ating mga kababayan na pupunta sa mga block screenings sa Toronto, Canada, and sa Carson, LA. Thank you so much for your support,” Santos said before her flight.When asked about seeing Filipino fans abroad, the “Maalaala Mo Kaya” host expressed her eagerness to reconnect.“Gustong gusto ko sila makasama ulit. Excited ako na makita sila. Alam ko a lot of them grew up, you know, watching ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya.’ I want to be able to get to meet them and talk to them, chat with them,” she shared.After the Canada leg, “Only We Know” heads to the U.S. for another screening on June 22 at Cinemark Carson in Los Angeles, California.The North America tour is part of a special international rollout to bring the film closer to overseas Filipinos.
