Lovi Poe’s horror film 'The Sacrifice' reveals star-studded cast

<p>The upcoming horror film <em>The Sacrifice</em>, headlined by Lovi Poe, has unveiled its full cast.</p><p>According to a report by<em> Variety</em>, joining Lovi, Enchong Dee, Timothy Granaderos, and Lav Diaz are Max Collins, Pokwang, Tommy Alejandrino, and Louie Chapman.</p><p>The film follows a group of vloggers who travel to a secluded village in the Philippines to uncover a rare substance said to be harvested only once every ten years. This remote village is haunted by ancient rituals and a terrifying legend.</p><p>The movie is directed by Prime Cruz with the script written by Jerrold Tarog. And sabi ko gusto kong bumuo and become like really hands on. And ayun, ang hirap mag-back out &#x27;pag nasimulan mo na,&quot; she stated.</p><p>When asked how she manages the workload, Lovi credited her husband as a key source of support. &quot;I think a great partner. My husband kasi is partner ko rin kasi siya sa pag-produce and he&#x27;s the one who pushed me. Sabi ng husband ko kasi, &#x27;You have all these ideas, pero these ideas mean nothing until you execute them.&#x27; So sabi ko, medyo na-pressure ako dun,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>In an interview back in October 2024, Lovi opened up about what inspired her to expand her career into producing films.</p><p>&quot;What made me do this was actually, I always loved writing my own stories and concepts. I remember it started po with our film, <em>Seasons</em>, with Regal. I came up with that concept and then suddenly, it was just nice to be part of the process and then biglang may script na kami and then nag-cast na and then everything just came together, and then we were taken on by Netflix,&quot; she shared.</p>
