Netflix announced Wednesday that production has begun on the second season of its hit zombie horror series &quot;All of Us Are Dead,&quot; unveiling both returning and new cast members.</p><p>This marks the latest update on the second season, which was <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/06/07/22/k-drama-all-of-us-are-dead-renewed-for-season-2"><strong>first confirmed</strong></a> by the streaming giant in June 2022.</p><p>&quot;Netflix has officially confirmed that production has begun on Season 2 of &#x27;All of Us Are Dead,&#x27; the Korean YA (young adult) zombie series that became a global breakout in 2022,&quot; the company said in a press release.</p><p>Premiering in 2022, the first season followed a group of high school students in the fictional city of Hyosan as they fought to survive a zombie outbreak.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/01/26/22/how-all-of-us-are-dead-differs-from-other-zombie-content"><strong>READ: How ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ is different from other zombie content<br/></strong></a></div><p>In the upcoming season, protagonist Nam On-jo (played by Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul, grappling with the trauma of the previous outbreak, according to Netflix.</p><p>But On-jo&#x27;s attempt to move on is cut short when a new wave of infection strikes the South Korean capital, thrusting her into yet another deadly fight for survival.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KVArof0g4JU?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>Netflix also released a video on its K-content YouTube channel to announce the second season, showing the cast members at a table-read session with a zombie.</p><p>The returning cast members include Yoon Chan-young as Lee Cheong-san, Cho Yi-hyun as Choi Nam-ra and Lomon as Lee Su-hyeok.</p><p>Meanwhile, the new additions to the cast include Lee Min-jae (from &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/4/28/for-park-ji-hoon-bromance-character-growth-drive-appeal-of-weak-hero-1440"><strong>Weak Hero Class 2</strong></a>&quot;), Kim Si-eun (&quot;Squid Game&quot;) and Yoon Ga-i, who will portray On-jo&#x27;s university friends. &quot;Squid Game&quot; actor Roh Jae-won also joins the series as a National Intelligence Service team leader.</p><p>A premiere date has yet to be announced.</p><p>Based on the webtoon of the same name, &quot;All of Us Are Dead&quot; amassed over 560 million viewing hours within 28 days of its premiere and entered the Top 10 non-English TV series rankings in more than 90 countries, according to Netflix.</p><div><strong>FROM THE ARCHIVES</strong></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sPPQnK_GPsM?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><strong></strong><br/></div>
