EXCLUSIVE: Dylan Yturralde shares best advice he got about playing an LGBTQIA+ role from real-life couple DongPat

Isapuso mo lang. Ilagay mo ang sarili mo sa lugar nila.&#x27; ‘Yun po ang pinakamagandang advice nakuha ko sa kanila,&quot; he shared.</p><p>In a press conference, Dylan recalled his initial reaction when he secured his role, Ethan Villanueva, in the series. </p><p>“Actually, nung natanggap ko po (ang role) sobrang kabado po talaga ako,” he said. “Parang kini-kuwestiyon ko pa ang sarili ko kung kaya ko ba dahil nga siyempre medyo sensitive din ‘yung i-po-portray kong role. &#x27;Di nga siya basta-basta, kailangan ko siyang paghandaan.”  </p><p>As part of the preparation, he had to immerse himself by visiting Dingdong and Patrick&#x27;s place.</p><p> <em>Love at First Spike</em> is Dylan’s first acting project after his PBB stint. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/6/21/emilio-daez-sean-tristan-reign-parani-share-takeaways-from-lead-roles-in-love-at-first-spike-1914"><strong>READ:Emilio Daez, Sean Tristan, Reign Parani share takeaways from lead roles in &#x27;Love At First Spike&#x27;</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>The series, which is headlined by Emilio Daez, Reign Parani, and Sean Tristan, tackles some the pressing issues confronting the LGBTQIA+ community. </p><p>Prior to entering the reality show, Dylan used to play at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) collegiate volleyball league, representing University of the East.  </p>
