EXCLUSIVE: Here’s how ‘It’s Showtime’ contributed to Darren Espanto’s growth

<div>Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto found a family on <em>It’s Showtime</em> — and he owes a part of his growth as an artist to them. <em><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1751936685614EXCLUSIVE Here’s how Its Showtime contributed to Darren Espantos growth.png" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></em>Darren, who has been serving as regular host on the noontime show since 2024, spoke about how his interaction with his audience has improved after over a year.  </div><p>“’Yung interaction ko sa mga tao ‘pag nag-pe-perform ako, when I’m doing my spiels, it helped a lot. Kasi dati sobrang konti ko lang magsalita in between songs. Kunwari may hindi ka inaasahang mangyari na medyo ayaw mo, there’s another day to come, just keep on going, just move on, and take one day at a time. Siguro isa ‘yun sa mga nakikita ko sa kanila,” he told <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong>.  </p><p>But what he’s most proud of as part of the <em>It’s Showtime </em>family is the sense of maturity that is fostered in the workplace. </p><p>“They live in the moment talaga, ‘yung Showtime family ko. If there’s a problem, they fix it on the spot. At saka parang doon ko rin natutunan ‘yung maturity in the workplace kasi nakita ko talaga ‘yung dynamics na showtime family, ‘yung hosts po tsaka ‘yung staff,” he said. </p><p>“It’s a working environment na very healthy, I would say, na pamilya talaga ang turingan.
