<p>In the late &#x27;90s, one of the most popular American teen drama series on television was a show called <em>Dawson&#x27;s Creek.</em> It s storyline revolved around the lives of a group of friends who grew up in a small and fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts. The 48-year-old Dawson&#x27;s Creek star was diagnosed last year with stage 3 colorectal cancer.</p><p>In an interview with <em>Variety,</em> cast member Michelle Williams gave some insight on why they decided to come together again in the event that doubles as both their reunion and fundraising. “We grew up in Capeside and that&#x27;s a bond that will last a lifetime. We wanted to gather around our dear friend James and remind him that we are all here. We always have been and we always will be. And working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship. HAPPY HOURS is a love story that includes so many people I adore. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we make.” </p>
