You really stay with them,” he said. “It felt like doing a little play together. Almost like a short film. That night changes everything.”</p><p>Adding delicious tension to Sophie’s arc is her cruel stepfamily -- Isabella Wei as the kind-hearted Posy Li, Michelle Mao as the cutting Rosamund Li, and Katie Leung as the formidable Lady Araminta Gun.</p><p>Their presence sharpens the stakes, turning Sophie’s romance with Benedict into not just a love story, but a fight for dignity, freedom, and self-worth.</p><p>Ha’s own journey mirrors her character’s fairytale rise. </p><p>“I sent in an audition tape, got the call while I was in Korea, packed my life in Australia, and flew to London,” she recalls. “This is my first leading lady romance, and eight-year-old me would never have imagined this.”</p><p>“&#x27;Bridgerton&#x27; became a family. Not every job gives you that. You just sit back and go on the ride,” he said, before turning to his leading lady. “Doing it with Yerin made it perfect.”</p><p>As the pair sent their love to Filipino fans, with a warm “Mabuhay,” their message echoed what &quot;Bridgerton&quot; does best. Transport, enchant, and gently remind us of what matters when the fantasy fades.</p><p>“I hope it sweeps people away,” Thompson said. “Like a holiday for the heart. And when you come back, maybe you understand your own life a little better.”</p><p>&quot;Bridgerton&quot; Season 4 will drop in two parts on Netflix, with Part 1 premiering on January 29, followed by Part 2 on February 26.</p>
