A new Charlie&#x27;s Angels movie is set to be produced by Sony.According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming film will be written by Pete Chiarelli, the screenwriter behind hits like Crazy Rich Asians and Now You See Me 2.The said reboot is now in early development.Charlie&#x27;s Angels was first released as a television show, airing from 1976 to 1981. As per IMDb, the show follows the story of &quot;a wealthy mystery man named Charlie [who] runs a detective agency via a speakerphone and his personal assistant, John Bosley. His detectives are three beautiful women, who end up in a variety of difficult situations.&quot;Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith originally starred in the leading roles.In 2000, the franchise was turned into a movie, which was a continuation of the narrative of the television show but featuring a new generation of Angels.
