The group includes Chae-ni (Park Eun-bin), Un-jeong (Cha Eun-woo), Gyeong-hun (Choi Dae-hoon) and Ro-bin (Im Seong-jae), who each react differently as their powers begin to manifest.</p><p>The trailer teases a mix of comedic set pieces and action, including Chae-ni’s spontaneous dance moment, Un-jeong summoning a floating book, and Gyeong-hun discovering his cellphone stuck to his hand. Ro-bin is also shown tearing open a car door with ease, as the group struggles to adjust to their abilities.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hzh2IInRLZQ?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div><p>Despite their confusion, the characters are later seen together at City Hall for volunteer work, hinting at an unlikely team dynamic and ensemble-driven storyline.</p><p>The series marks Cha’s first project since addressing <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2026/4/8/cha-eun-woo-says-taxes-fully-paid-apologizes-anew-2148">a tax issue controversy</a> earlier this year.</p><p>“The WONDERfools” is directed by Yoo In-sik, known for “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and “Dr. Romantic,” and reunites him with Park.</p><p>The series is set for an exclusive global release on Netflix on May 15.</p>
