It’s Showtime’s Dumbo responds to ‘namamahiya’ comment: ‘I’m just doing my job’

<p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime"><em><strong>It’s Showtime</strong></em><strong>’s</strong></a> audience coordinator, Ervin Plaza, better known as Dumbo, broke his silence as he responded to a comment from a netizen. Namamahiya sya ng mga audience kapag nagpapa picture sa mga Artistang Taga Hawak ng Briefcase,” a fan wrote.</p><p>Dumbo couldn’t help but deny the accusation made by the netizen as he maintained that he would never do that to anyone.  </p><p>“Ate grabe yung akusasyon mo ah, namamahiya. Unang-una, hindi po ako namamahiya baka napahiya ka lang kasi sinita ko yung audience or ikaw man yun or kung sino man yun,” he expressed.</p><p>He added that there are rules to be followed by the audience members while they are on set, which he has to implement for everyone’s safety. </p><p>“Kasi may rules po sa studio, bago palang magsimula ang taping sinasabi po yan –– yung mga pwede at hindi pwedeng gawin. Pag meron kang ginawa na hindi pwedeng gawin, sisitahin ko po kayo. So, napahiya ka dahil sinita kita –– hindi mo nagawa yung gusto mong gawin sa artist,” he said.</p><p>While he said he didn’t embarrass anyone, Dumbo offered his apologies, but asserted that it was just part of his job and nothing personal. </p><p>“Pasensya ka na pero I’m just doing my job at hindi po pamamahiya yun. Napahiya lang kayo dahil nasita po kayo. Ganun po yun,” he assured. </p><p>“At tsaka, unang-una, wag kayong mag salita ng ganyan. Kung ginagawa niyo naman ng maayos pag nasa studio kayo. God bless po.
