Also, Chloe San Jose performed with a group. Her first public performance came in 2020, at the age of five, when she sang with her cousins at her grandmother’s birthday. They performed “If We Hold On Together,” the theme song from the 1988 film The Land Before Time, originally performed by Diana Ross.As a young artist, Yanson enjoys a wide range of genres, including jazz, Broadway musicals, contemporary and folk songs, the classics, and classical crossover. She shares a simple onstage mantra: shake off the nerves, take a deep breath, and “never forget to have fun onstage.” Under the guidance of mentor Jade Riccio, she approaches her passion with a maturity beyond her years. In fact, she&#x27;s been praised by no less than National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, who remarked that she reminded him of Lea Salonga, when she sang &quot;Journey to the Past&quot; from the movie &quot;Anastasia.&quot;Yanson dreams of making it big, and with the support of her mother and grandparents, she continues to refine her natural singing talent, dedicating herself to excellence in her craft. Despite her young age, she has already broadened her musical horizons and shown remarkable commitment to practice.
