Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alum Kai, now signed with ABS-CBN’s record label Star Pop, is eager to break into the OPM scene and has revealed she’s already working on her music debut.

“Basta, may aabangan. Secret pa. It is still in the works,” she teased in an interview held in Quezon City, Saturday.

“I don’t want to say too much about it, but it is something close to heart,” she added.

The former PBB housemate explained that she will be hands-on in creating her debut titles.

“Because if it is my first, I want it to represent me as a person. So talagang tutukan ko. I hope it will transcend to the people who will listen,” she reasoned.

Kai expressed her gratitude for officially joining the ABS-CBN family. Apart from the support and guidance of her management, she sees it as an opportunity to bring her dream collaborations with seasoned Kapamilya talents closer to reality.

“Star Pop and Star Magic handles us with care and really wants to nourish our talent. Hindi nila minamadali,” she explained.

“Dati fan girl lang ngayon possibility na. Dati talaga na-excite ako as a music lover. Madami ako nilolook-up to.  There is a possibility I will be able to collaborate with someone. It is surreal,” she added.

Kai shared she is particularly interested in collaborating with her fellow housemate Jarren and Nation’s Girl Group BINI in the future.

“Sino mag-deny mag collaborate kag Jarren. BINI, of course,” she said.
