<p>Filipino boy group BGYO just released their first-ever self-titled extended play. They shared their thoughts on its track list, emphasizing how it celebrates the various emotions and stages of love.</p><p>“It’s giving stages of love,” BGYO’s leader Gelo mentioned during the media conference of their EP showcase.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1742350432337BGYO-breaks-down-the-track-list-of-their-self-titled-EP_.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>The other members agreed, including JL, emphasizing that the EP truly captures a variety of emotions.</p><p>BGYO’s self-titled EP features a variety of songs exploring themes of love and heartbreak. In addition to its key track &quot;Divine,&quot; it also includes the angsty and painful song &quot;Heartstrings,&quot; which delves into the experience of constantly getting hurt.</p><p>Gelo admitted that although they have never personally experienced it, they drew inspiration from the stories of people around them who have gone through similar situations, helping them execute the song more authentically.</p><p>“Well, para sa amin, hindi man kami naka-experience ng ganun mismo paulit-ulit sinasaktan. Pero kami naman, meron kaming mga tao sa paligid namin, like our friends, mga kaklase nga actually. Mga narinig namin na story at tungkol din sa mga ganun experiences. Mikki, Kuya Aki had a songwriting camp in Davao, and then other songs were pitched to us, and other songs were already made. So, we listened to everything and put it together—yeah, listening sessions deciding which songs will be in this one and which one is not yet. And then, it worked. It clicked. And it became BGYO, the EP,” Nate explained.</p><p>Mikki, who is also the songwriter behind &quot;Andito Lang,&quot; a track from the album, emphasized that the final output is a product of true teamwork.</p><p>&quot;We always try to give ideas, pero, you know, we have to, we always have meetings with the BGYO management, coming members, and of course, our label. So, when we give out our ideas, mag-uusap-usap pa rin together on what would work at kung anong hindi mag-work. So as much as possible, we always give out ideas when it comes to lyrics, the sound of the EP, the pictures and everything, but it&#x27;s all teamwork,” Mikki shared.</p><p>The Filipino boy group recently captivated their fans during their EP showcase titled &quot;BGYO: The Party,&quot; where they treated their supporters, known as ACEs, to live performances of key tracks from their album.</p>
