At the back of my mind… noong kabataan ko po ay sinasabi sa akin ng Panginoon na, ‘dapat maging mabuti ka lang sa kapwa mo, sa mama mo, and I will bless you,’ at ginawa po iyon ng Panginoon sa panahon na ‘di ko ine-expect”, Mendrez said.</p><p>He also talked about his experience and the process in crafting the song with renowned composer Jonathan Manalo, and praised him for his significant role in Mendrez&#x27;s original single.</p><p>“Super proud ako kasi it’s a Jonathan Manalo’s composition. Para buo at kumpleto ang pagiging singer, dapat meron kang isang Jonathan Manalo as composition. Kaya nung ginagawa ko &#x27;yung recording ng kanta ay sobrang nerbyos ko kasi ayaw ko mapapahiya sa kanya at siyempre, super laki po’ ng pangalan ng Jonathan Manalo. So, super proud ako na meron akong kanta na galing sa kanya”, Mendrez said.</p><p>His song “Nandito Lang Ako” is available in all digital music platforms.</p>
