Fans call for IV of Spades reunion; 'Daddy Aid' benefit show announced

<p>Allan Silonga, also known as &quot;Daddy A&quot; in the music industry, is credited with putting IV of Spades on the map by mentoring and guiding the group&#x27;s career.</p><p>Aside from being a beloved figure in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) scene, Silonga is the father of Blaster Silonga, who was a member of the aforementioned band. </p><p>But like other bands, IV of Spades disbanded, breaking the hearts of their devoted followers.</p><p>Will they heed their fans&#x27; request and reunite for the benefit concert &quot;Daddy Aid” to support Silonga&#x27;s health battle? The proceeds from the concert will go to Silonga&#x27;s medical expenses as he battles kidney disease and heart issues. </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1744073992781image0 (21).jpeg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Some of the top OPM stars in the country, including Moira, Ben&amp;Ben, Gloc-9, Dilaw, Lola Amour, Moonstar88, 6cyclemind, Gracenote, Tanya Markova, Lily, Sandwich, and many more, will perform at the benefit event on May 25 at Marikina Sports Center.</p><p>“What started out as simple fundraising initiative swiftly evolved into a full-scale call to action, with bands, labels, production firms, and creatives joining together to respond. The list is as amazing as it is endearing, with cult-favorite collectives, up-and-coming underground bands, and chart-topping artists like Tanya Markova and Ben&amp;Ben,” said the organizers.</p><p>They added, “Every ticket sold takes Daddy A closer to healing — and demonstrates that when music talks, it shouts louder together. Because this time, the scene isn&#x27;t just making noise.
