KATSEYE recently reflected how their music has evolved since their debut. In an interview with B96 Chicago at the Lollapalooza, member Lara shared how their sound has grown bolder over time&quot;I feel like our music now is like it&#x27;s a little bolder &#x27;cause I think through the years especially like the first year during the SIS (Soft Is Strong) era, we were finding our identity as a group and like learning who we are as a collective and as one. And I think for Beautiful Chaos we kind of have a better understanding of that, like the unity we have together.&quot;She added that their latest music mirrors the group&#x27;s current dynamic. &quot;I feel like the new music is very representative of that and like the relationship we have with each other currently and just how tight, and close, and like chaotic our friendship is with each other,&quot; she pointed out.<div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17546292165641754629198847.jpeg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/>Image Credit: katseyeworld IG</div>When asked what they didn&#x27;t expect in their journey after their debut, Sophia reflected on the overwhelming support they’ve received. &quot;I think for me I didn&#x27;t expect all the things we&#x27;ve experienced so far to come so soon and just so big, like all the love on us, on our sisterhood, and our performances, it&#x27;s just we never expected it,&quot; she said. The group also discussed the inspiration behind their hit track &quot;Gnarly.&quot;&quot;I feel like the concept of &#x27;Gnarly,&#x27; it kind of came out because it was us embracing that duality of, not to quote our album, but like the beautiful and that chaos,&quot; Sophie highlighted.Composed of Sophia, Lara, Daniela, Yoonchae, Manon, and Megan, KATSEYE made their debut in June 2024 with the release of their first single &quot;Debut.&quot; The group quickly gained traction, followed with their breakout hit &quot;Touch&quot; in July 2024.The group reached another milestone in August 2024 with the release of their first extended play (EP), SIS (Soft Is Strong). To promote the EP, KATSEYE embarked on an Asia tour in September 2024, performing in South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan.The group released their second EP Beautiful Chaos in June this year.
