<p>As the granddaughter of the late Elizabeth Ramsey and niece of OPM singer Jaya, Ana Ramsey isn’t one to deny she has always had big shoes to fill. And I’m always okay naman na may pressure because ‘yun ‘yung nagpapalabas din ng 100% ko if may na-fi-feel akong pressure. But it’s a good kind of pressure, you know. Of course, ‘pag marinig mo ‘yung name na Ramsey, papasok talaga agad sa utak ng tao ‘yung of course, the iconic Ramsey, the late Elizabeth Ramsay and of course my tita, Ms. Jaya. But of course, siguro sa classic hindi na tayo lalayo ‘no? A song from my Tita Jaya na talagang ring lagi pina-pa-sample sa akin every time is the song ‘Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig’,” she shared.</p><p>Though she may enjoy doing coversof her aunt‘s popular hits, Ana makes sure to put her unique sound to it. “I definitely put my own flavor, though may times kasi na sinasabi nila na medyo similar ‘yung voice namin. Medyo deep kasi ‘yung voice ko. But of course, Jaya is Jaya. The one and only. This year, she takes on hosting duties as a Vibe jock. “It’s a dream come true for me. Although before kasi, nag-start talaga ako as a radio jock. And then after that, I was given a chance na mag-host ng online show and another TV show sa TV5. And now it’s another project na talagang close to my heart because it’s about music and it’s about performing. Ma-ha-highlight natin ‘yung mga rising stars na once ako rin naman, ganun noong nagsisimula pa lang. And finally, we have a platform na makakatulong para sa mga very talented natin na mga kapatids out there. Relatable din naman ako and very kalog. And I guess with my co-<em>Vibe</em> jocks here, ‘pag nagsama-sama kami, it’s going to be kulitan and ipapakita namin yung iba’t ibang personalities namin and siyempre, I’m so excited din na mapakita yung iba’t ibang side din when it comes to performing, ‘yung iba’t ibang klaseng style and genre na masusubukan ko rin, if there will be times na mabigyan kami ng chance to perform. So I’m also looking forward na mapakita rin yung iba’t ibang sides,” she added. </p><p>After releasing her last single “Tahan” in 2019, Ana assured fans that she still has plans to release more songs soon. “Well, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say it, but of course in the future ‘yun talaga yung gusto ko: to create more original songs. And of course, makapagsulat ng sarili kong songs. That’s also one of my dreams din,” she revealed. </p>
