KATSEYE member Sophia Laforteza took to social media to commend Maki&#x27;s debut album Kolorcoaster.On her Instagram Story, Sophia shared the cover of Maki&#x27;s album and wrote: &quot;So good bestie @california_maki.&quot;Maki released Kolorcoaster on September 19 which contains ten tracks including the hit singles &quot;Dilaw&quot; and &quot;Kahel na Langit.&quot;<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/175862782603120250923060920_Sophia Laforteza.jpeg" style="width:300px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div>In a recent interview with MJ Felipe on Are You G? of TFC, Maki shared that the idea of having colors as the concept of the album sprung when he released his track &quot;Dilaw.&quot;&quot;Actually &#x27;yung concept ng colors talaga nagsimula siya sa &#x27;Dilaw.&#x27; Ako po kasi talaga  whenever I write songs, I first think about the concept... I know where to go even sa visual dapat lahat sila cohesive,&quot; he explained.Maki relayed that that he wanted to showcase his love for the arts through the album. &quot;I dug deeper sa kung ano ang gusto kong mangyari na mga next track tapos sabi ko sa sarili ko why not colors kasi mahilig naman ako sa arts? And I&#x27;m a huge advocate po sa mga Filipino artists as well na don&#x27;t have enough opportunities. Gusto ko po mabigyan sila ng spotlight as well sa album na &#x27;to. Actually, ang dami pong artists kaming hinire for all the visual arts po na nalalagay ngayon,&quot; he shared.Following the release of the album, Maki is set to stage a concert on November 7 at the Big Dome.Aside from performing, Maki will be the directing the said concert.&quot;Malaking opportunity ito for me also because I will be directing my own concert. Nung last time kasi, sa creative direction ako talaga yung nasunod. So for this own as well kasi I created the Kolorcoaster world, so why not na ako din ang mag-direct nung concert?&quot; he shared in a previous interview.The singer added: &quot;So sabi ko, I am really honored and thrilled na I got the chance and opportunity. And they gave me the trust for me to direct. Kasi I’ve always been dreaming of directing something. And para sa akin, itong concert na ito, it’s not just a milestone, but also para sa akin po, it’s the physical or the human form of me and my heart.&quot;
