Photo from Day6&#x27;s X account </div>MANILA — Sweet chaos erupted the moment the members of South Korean pop-rock band Day6 took the stage at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.Deafening screams greeted Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon as they launched into their 2019 single &quot;Time of Our Life,&quot; signaling the start of the two-and-a-half-hour show.The concert was part of the band&#x27;s &quot;The Decade&quot; tour, celebrating their 10th debut anniversary, and marked their return to the Philippines less than a year after their <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2025/3/1/day6-makes-triumphant-return-to-ph-concert-stage-praises-energy-of-filipino-fans-1827">previous visit</a>.“We came [back] after 11 months. I think the energy and temperature is higher this time,” said Wonpil, who plays keyboards and synthesizer, at the start of the show on Saturday.The energy from the fans — collectively known as My Day — was so intense that bassist Young K had to calm the crowd after &quot;Happy&quot; before the group could close their opening set with their 2024 hit &quot;Welcome to the Show.&quot;Yet the fans&#x27; enthusiasm didn&#x27;t waver, as they continued singing the outro of &quot;Welcome to the Show&quot; even after the performance ended. It’s the milestone that marks our journey ahead. And wherever it leads, whatever awaits beyond, we’ll keep moving,” the fans said in the video.In return, Young K shared what fans also meant to them.“You guys are the reason why we sing, the reason why we go on stage, the reason why we compose, we write lyrics, we release albums,” Young K said.“You guys are the reason why we wanna come back, so please know, each and every one of you, you guys got the great power. You make us move,” he said.Noting the crowd’s energy, Sungjin encouraged fans to channel that same passion into staying happy and healthy every day.“I’m sure you are going through hard times in life. If you are struggling, look at us, listen to our music. And at the same time, we’re going to do it back. We will get strength from you,” he said.Steph, 28, told ABS-CBN News that she became a Day6 fan after hearing their song &quot;Marathon&quot; in 2020.“A lot was happening in my life then. I don’t know the next step. It’s like I always have to do something. The song comforted me that it’s okay to take it slow, to take time, to rest,” she said.Another fan, Nami, shared that she became a Day6 fan after discovering the band through their labelmates Xdinary Heroes.&quot;Despite the success they are getting, they remain down to Earth,&quot; she said.Asked for a message to the band, Nami said: “Just keep on making music, making My Days proud. People will always be proud of you, guys.”Steph, meanwhile, said: &quot;I hope they always feel happy in making music. Because we are not the only ones who feel happy because of them. I hope they also feel happy and healthy like what they always tell us.&quot;

A year has not yet passed since Day6 last visited the Philippines, but the Manila leg of their “The Decade” tour was nevertheless welcomed by the fans with great anticipation.
