Former “Idol Philippines” Season 2 finalist Annrain has officially launched on Tuesday her self-titled EP, a deeply personal project that explores themes of love, loss, and healing.The EP features six revival tracks, each reimagined in Annrain’s own style. She shared that the process came with both excitement and pressure, as many of the songs are considered iconic.To prepare, Annrain returned to voice lessons and worked closely with coaches, carefully studying each track to ensure the songs carried her distinct sound.“I really tried my best po na maging Annrain, maging tunog ko po talaga siya dahil meron din po talagang konting pressure sa mga songs dahil mga iconic songs po ‘yung mga nabigay sa ’kin,” she said, adding that she is grateful for the trust and opportunity given to her.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1770767211177ec6e0559-52e8-471c-baf8-7feb48142421.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Annrain performs at her EP launch. ABS-CBN News</div>Annrain admitted she did not expect the project, especially its launch to be as big as it turned out. “Actually, ‘yung iba po talaga hindi ko po in-expect na it would be this big po… especially po ito pong launch,” she expressed. Still, she expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and for the people behind the scenes who helped bring her dream to life. She began singing at the age of 10 and described the EP as a milestone in slowly fulfilling her long-held dreams.Among the tracks, Annrain named “Kahit ‘Di Mo Sabihin” by Juris as her personal favorite.Looking ahead, Annrain teased upcoming shows and shared her hope to release original songs within the year. “Meron pong mga shows coming up. And of course, looking forward po na this year din makapag-release din ng mga original songs. Soon po, soon, sana po,” she said.She encouraged listeners to stream her music on Spotify, YouTube, and other digital platforms, and to check out her self-titled album, &quot;Annrain.&quot;
