Rising Thai pop star ALLY set to kick off international tour with Manila visit this March

<p>Thai pop star ALLY is set to take a major step in her rising career as she launches her international tour, with Manila chosen as her first stop from March 24 to 26.  </p><p>The 21-year-old artist, whose real name is Achiraya Nitibhon, will be in the country to mark the beginning of her broader push into the Southeast Asian market, anchored on the release of her new English single, “but you.” </p><p>In a statement, ALLY shared her excitement about connecting with Filipino fans in person, noting the country’s strong music culture and dedicated pop audience. </p><p>“Visiting the Philippines feels very special to me,” she said. “I want to connect with fans, perform live, and share my music face-to-face. Despite her young age, she has quickly established herself as one of Thailand’s most promising new-generation artists, recognized for her expressive pop sound, polished performances, and distinct sense of style. </p><p>Her latest track, “but you,” signals a new chapter in her artistry. Sung entirely in English, the song blends elements of R&amp;B, pop, and lo-fi hip-hop for a “smooth, atmospheric soundscape that captures longing, emotional distance, and the ache of enduring feelings often tied to an undefined relationship.”</p><p>The single also introduces a key collaboration with JHIN, known for the viral track “Blue Butterflies.” To develop the song, ALLY traveled to New York, where she worked closely with the artist in person, shaping both its sonic direction and emotional depth. </p><p>“‘but you’ is a very personal song for me,” ALLY said in the press release. “It talks about that one person you can’t forget, even when the relationship is unclear or already over. Singing it in English allowed me to express those emotions in a way that people from different countries can understand. She gained wider attention through her role in the Netflix series <em>The Believers.</em> She has represented global luxury brand Chanel as an ambassador, reinforcing her image as a modern Asian artist with cross-industry appeal. </p><p>She is also set to appear in the upcoming global K-pop thriller film <em>Perfect Girl,</em> directed by Hong Won-ki. The project features an international cast spanning both K-pop and Hollywood, with ALLY being the only Thai artist.</p>
