Earl Generao looks forward to future collaborations and album after signing with Universal Records

<p>Making a new beginning under Universal Records, OPM singer and songwriter Earl Generao expressed his excitement to do more projects, including his new album and future collaborations with other artists.</p><div> </div><p>During his recent contract signing with the label, Earl shared his excitement about working on more projects, including collaborations and his first-ever full-length album.</p><div> </div><p>“I think I had the chance to show to my followers and my listeners and my fans the wholeness of my sound kasi I never had an album lagi lang akong single. I&#x27;m really excited to share na finally mapapakita ko na kung sino ako as an artist via an album. Now entering a new chapter after eight years in the music scene, Earl shared how he wanted to showcase the genre closest to his heart: R&amp;B and Soul.</p><div> </div><p>“I just didn&#x27;t have the opportunity to show it first kasi nga in my previous label or in my first releases pinakita ko muna yung acoustic side ko but to be honest it&#x27;s not really more of an evolution eh, it&#x27;s actually showing my first side yung pinakauna kong core inspiration as an artist so at least para akong umuwi. Kaya ‘Barangay Pag-ibig’ (because) it would be stages (with) the first few songs na sobrang kilig… sa middle part would be yung medyo hindi mo alam kung siya na ba or tatalon ka na ba sa serious relationships. Then, the last few songs would be the heartbreak songs and the final songs would be yung realization mo of going through that cycle,” he expressed.</p><div> </div><div><strong></strong><iframe width="795" height="447" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/s9TFJyN_ek0" title="Earl Generao teases album release in 2026 | PUSH TV" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><strong></strong></div><div> </div><p>Earl said he is confident that he has found the right creative partner in Universal Records after two years of careful consideration.</p><div> </div><p>“I&#x27;m really happy to be with Universal and yes, it took a while. It was two years for me to decide, but I really took my time para kung sino man yung partnership na piliin ko. That is an achievement that I&#x27;m very proud of. Siyempre kasi at the end of the day, a million is a million hindi naman yan marereach ng wala wala lang. If you look at it industry-wise, baka it&#x27;s not the biggest but ako kasi everytime I go to shows, I go to gigs, I see the faces that sing the words of the songs.
