Madami talaga, as in. And then this is the one thing that we could agree on. I suggested it because I thought we could do it our way,” bass guitarist Myrene shared.</p><div><iframe width="815" height="458" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KnK1PVz9Ies" title="Imago - &quot;Sayang Na Sayang&quot; (Official Live Video)" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>She relayed how they worked on the arrangement.</p><p>“It’s a pop song, but it’s more guitar bass with us and then with the help of arrangements from Raymund and Buddy, mas modern siya and mas bagay sa mga bagets. That’s one of the reasons. And Kurei agreed naman, too, and she wanted to sing it also so we all agreed on it,” she added.</p><p>As a new generation of artists emerge, the band also shared how they introduce their music to younger listeners.</p><p>“First of all, we’re very excited because there’s always something new out there. We’re always excited to see that younger bands perform and put out new songs. We like seeing them live when we play with them. So how do we introduce ourselves? I’m not really sure how we do that intentionally, but hopefully they hear it when their parents are older, relatives listening to it, and maybe that,” Myrene said.</p><p>Lead guitarist Tim also added that they don’t force themselves on people and simply hope listeners resonate with their music.</p><p>“We always just do what we do and keep it as authentic for ourselves na ito talaga kami, ito yung sound namin and just play it as best that we can tapos sana hopefully na ma-resonate sa mga bata. We can’t force ourselves on people eh so we just hope na matuwa lang sila sa ginagawa namin and I hope we don’t sound so dated naman, sound ng Imago. Produced and arranged with Raymund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala, the 5-track release continues to carry the band’s signature sound forward.</p>
