Maki reveals creative process of ‘Habangbuhay Pansamantala’ and its music video at Pink Fest

<p>MANILA — OPM star Maki painted the night pink as fans gathered for his much-awaited Pink Fest held in an activity center at a shopping mall in Quezon City, that sums up a celebration of music, milestones, and community.</p><p>The event featured special guest performances from Darren Cashwell, Jamiela, SHANNi, and SUYEN, with a surprise appearance by SB19’s Justin, who sent the crowd into cheers and added star power to the evening.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/5/29/maki-reveals-the-ties-that-bind-dilaw-to-habangbuhay-pansamantala-1704"><strong>Maki reveals the ties that bind &#x27;Dilaw&#x27; to &#x27;Habangbuhay Pansamantala&#x27; </strong></a></div><p>Beyond the performances, Maki opened up about how his newly released single “Habangbuhay Pansamantala” and its music video was meticulously crafted by him and his team.</p><p>“Sobrang tagal. Yung process din ng songwriting… from the songwriting itself, sa pag-produce ng kanta, sa pag-mix ng vocals… Kasama na rin doon ang music video, para akong ‘Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy,’ iba’t ibang persona. So naging songwriter, naging producer, lahat na! Sobrang pinaghirapan ito.
