Worry no more, because we got just what you need to help you move forward for the new year! </p><p>While watching movies are nowhere near as healthy as facing and dealing with your emotional trauma (because let’s face it, that ex of yours was really bad), nor as helpful as a five-hour girl talk session with your best friends, you can at least escape for a while and find hope in the stories of women who have picked themselves up and moved on from men who are significantly more attractive than your ex! </p><div> </div><div><strong>1. ‘One More Chance’ </strong></div><p>Is there anything more uplifting than Basha’s (Bea Alonzo) story of self-discovery? </p><div> </div><div><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/i2fVOcWmaf8?si=bo0ldY4yfpDq8Vjw" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div><p>She might have regretted it all in the glorious “ako na lang, ako na lang ulit” end, but we argue that she made the right choice breaking up with Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) to find herself and get an amazingly chic new haircut. And while we don’t advice that you randomly get a pixie cut, we do advice that you watch this movie. </p><div> </div><div><strong>2. ‘It Takes a Man and a Woman’ </strong></div><p>The third chapter of Miggy Montenegro (John Lloyd Cruz) and Laida Magtalas’ (Sarah Geronimo) love story might be the most painful, but it is also the one we can learn the most from. </p><div> </div><div><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mbg0eAZI_0Q?si=V9rUhKn3GBkOZF_L" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div><p>Patience, time, and a good solid apology — that’s all you really need for a personal happy ending. Except that Piolo was not your ex! However, “Starting Over Again” answered the question in your head, “Paano kaya kung magkita kami ng ex ko... magkakabalikan kaya kami ulit?” with a deep and resounding “NO, so move on already!” You should listen. </p><div> </div><div><strong>4. ‘The Hows of Us’ </strong></div><p>Who did not shed a tear with “The Hows of Us”?
