Topbilled by Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes, who at that time were still riding high from the success of their hit <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ABS-CBN</a> television series &quot;Mara Clara&quot;, “Way Back Home” told the story of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films/2026/1/22/which-facundo-sibling-are-you-the-different-ways-you-can-show-love-for-family-1755" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">sisters</a> Joanna and Jessie who were tragically separated for 12 years, until a chance encounter at a swimming competition brought them back together.  </p><p>In &quot;Way Back Home&quot;, we got to see some of the best crying moments from KathJul, and it&#x27;s impossible not to shed some tears of your own during a rewatch. One sister who is love-starved? Another who just wants acceptance?
