It’s Showtime hosts are shipping Jackie and Darren so hard in these kilig, hilarious moments!

“<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">It’s Showtime</a>” marked its 15th anniversary with a festive, magnificent, and heartwarming week-long Magpasikat 2024 fete last October and kicked off its 16th year with a fun-filled and truly unforgettable afterparty, which was attended by some of its gregarious hosts. However, it seems that it wasn’t only the formidable success of the noontime program and the unbreakable bond of the “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">It’s Showtime</a>” fam that was celebrated during that eventful night. As they returned to work, it was noticeable how the hosts teased Darren Espanto and Jackie Gonzaga with each other due to their extraordinary closeness, which, according to them, started when he took care of her after getting so drunk. Since then, almost every episode would never be complete without their co-hosts poking fun at them.  Let’s revisit the five kilig-inducing moments of the JaRen tandem in this edition of Showtime Toplist! It all started on the very first day of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">It’s Showtime</a>”’s 16th year on October 28, when Vice Ganda suddenly mentioned that Jackie’s false eyelashes were found on the pants of Darren that night. Darren, who was among the hurados in that episode of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” tried to explain, but his co-hosts, including his bestie Kim Chiu, were too busy teasing him. Jackie, on the other hand, couldn’t do anything as well but laugh along with the other hosts. Just in time for the Halloween festivities, the Kapamilya hosts exchanged scary stories. While some shared their personal supernatural encounters, Darren lighten up the spooky mood by saying that he experienced the “Exorcism of Jackie Gonzaga” a few days prior to that, which amused everyone. Still quite ashamed by what had happened to her, Jackie expressed her apologies and her gratitude to him anew for taking good care of her.  During the Halloween episode, which was also the birthdays of Jackie and Lassy Marquez, Darren was asked for his special message to her. He said, “Sana sa susunod hindi mo kailangang bilangin ‘yong mga tiles sa CR,” and was interrupted by their co-hosts who began to poke fun at them. As he added, “Sana hindi na toilet ‘yong kayakap mo,” he was teased to give the birthday girl a hug, to which he willingly complied. The JaRen tandem then commenced the month of November with an invigorating dance interpretation to the song of up-and-coming artist Chie, who was their guest performer that day. The kilig was too real and their chemistry was to evident, which wowed their co-hosts and made them squeal. As the manager of Jackie, the Unkabogable Star jokingly laid out her plans for them, which include further hyping up their loveteam and creating a YouTube channel dedicated to them.  Lastly, as fast-rising Pinoy Pop idol VXON performed their song “Sandal” on the opening segment of the noontime program, the hosts asked one another to whom they wish to lean on. Darren, on his part, hinted that it would be on Jackie and immediately went to her location on the other side of the stage, which made everyone kilig.  Are you a JaRen fan as well, Kapamilya?
