The world is getting smaller and tighter for the Dimaguiba brothers in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” as we witnessed how the groups of David (McCoy de Leon) and Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) had an intense skirmish that almost made them come face-to-face with each other in the previous week’s (November 18 to 22) episode of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.” 

True to his word that he would do his best after being belittled by the Tondo Gang, Santino joined the group during their standoff with the Red Phoenix and the Montenegros. While the Tondo Gang and the Red Phoenix were supposed to be allies, a rift grew between them as the former visited the latter’s drug lab unannounced. Amid their clash, Olga (Irma Adlawan) and David, along with their henchmen, suddenly arrived at the scene in pursuit of destroying them.

Santino didn’t only muster the courage to finally hold and fire a gun, but he also bravely took away the suitcase that contained high-grade drugs called Red Chaser. Since that was highly important, Bullet (Renz Fernandez) chased Santino, and a nerve-wracking shootout and fisticuff ensued between them. Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) attempted to help Santino but failed as Bullet was able to shoot him.

Left to fend for himself, Santino managed not just to save himself from looming death in the hands of Bullet but to kill him as well by fatally shooting him four times. Unbeknownst to him, David (McCoy de Leon) was also on the scene and even headed to the same spot where he murdered Bullet a few moments later.

Mr. Wu (Ricardo Cepeda) and Roy (Jeffrey Tam) managed to get away, while the Montenegros lost some minions, including Bullet, which enraged Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel). Ramon got vehemently madder upon learning from Olga that David (a.k.a. “Fake Hesus”) abandoned them instead of leading their group during the standoff. He almost assaulted David, more so when he reasoned out that he was just saving himself from imminent danger.

Afterwards, David received a call from his real father Rigor (John Estrada) and immediately heeded his request to come to his location as he wanted someone to talk to after what happened to Lena and their child earlier that day. David went on to badmouth his own mom Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) to Rigor, claiming that it was her who initiated their altercation and she did it intentionally.

On the other hand, Ramon didn’t waste no time in coming to Marites after receiving a text message from her and hearing her distressed voice when he called her. Little did he know that Olga overheard their conversation, which really appalled her, so she vowed to do anything to prevent their growing closeness.

After successfully getting ahold of the coveted Red Chaser, Mr. Wu finally agreed to accept Lucio and the Tondo Gang to their business. However, Santino couldn’t help but be consumed by guilt and worry as he recalled his first kill, so Teban (Bassilyo), Kidlat (Smugglaz), and Lucio consoled him by telling him that he only did what was needed to be done at the time and that he did it for his and the group’s own good.

Meanwhile, just when they thought that they’ve found a savior in their old friend Cecilia (Raquel Villavicencio), Tindeng (Charo Santos) and Noy (Lou Veloso) found themselves wrong after she declined their request for him to undergo medical checkup due to his persistent coughing, saying that he was just making up excuses to skip work.

Since she wanted Noy to be checked by a doctor, Tindeng told Noy to go to the clinic without Cecilia’s permission and even gave him a few cash. The result of his medical examination revealed that there’s a two-centimeter lump in his lungs, which may result in lung cancer. Not wanting to give her further trouble, Noy decided to hide from Tindeng the personal health scare that he faces.

After running away from the hospital, a deranged Lena (Mercedes Cabral) went on to roam around the streets of Quiapo still cladded in hospital gown. She headed to an abandoned house where she dozed off after saving a woman from a snatcher and exchanging clothes with her. She spiraled into madness over the loss of her beloved child after her altercation with Marites that resulted in her accident and miscarriage.

In pursuit of finally making Tisay (Barbie Imperial) fall into their hands and stop her from her next carjacking heist, Tanggol (Coco Martin) charmed her into a date. He swung by the bar where she works as a singer and asked for her forgiveness after what he did to her the night before. As she absolved him, Tanggol went on to aggressively ask her for the payment of her debt but to no avail since she didn’t have any money to pay for it yet.

Thus, he invited her to go on a date with him, which she instantly accepted. Tanggol brought him to the auto shop owned by Divina (Rosanna Roces), where he showed her and let her try on the luxury sports cars displayed there. Unbeknown to Tisay, Tanggol’s group was just staying in the second floor of the establishment and closely monitoring their every move via the CCTV cameras that they installed around the area.

In her attempt of luring him and completing their group’s mission for that night, Tisay put sleeping powder into Tanggol’s drink, which he and his group were able to witness. So, Tanngol switched their glasses and pretended to doze off after taking a swig. Upon seeing Tisay and her team hop on the three sports cars and swiftly leave, Tanggol’s group went to him to wake him up and immediately followed the carnappers.

A heart-pounding car chase around Quiapo and shootout ensued between the two groups at the Jones Bridge.
