From first night to eviction: Reich Alim and Waynona Collings look back on their unforgettable “PBB Collab 2.0” moments

<p>The latest evictees of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0</em></u></strong></a>,” Reich Alim and Waynona Collings, sit down with Kapamilya Chat to share their journey—recounting everything from their very first night inside Bahay ni Kuya to the realizations they gained after eviction. Now adjusting to life outside the house, both are embracing their post-PBB era as they candidly answer questions and reflect on their unforgettable experience.</p><div> </div><div><strong>First night inside the “PBB” house</strong></div><p>They looked back on their very first night inside Bahay ni Kuya—recalling their initial reactions the moment they stepped into the house and heard Big Brother’s voice for the first time.</p><p>Reich was thrilled to see her friends and co-stars in the series “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/what-lies-beneath" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>What Lies Beneath</em></u></strong></a>,” Krystal Mejes and Eliza Borromeo, realizing she would share the same “PBB” journey with them. She also recalled looking around and thinking the house was beautiful. “It was so modern yet retro at the same time,” she said.  </p><div> </div><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz8gWM8iRADsJr&amp;cid=ABr9teg2OwlgfY9e"></script></div><p>Waynona, meanwhile, admired the colors of the house. She was shocked to see so much food during their first meal together as housemates. “Parang hindi pa namin nare-realize na nasa ‘PBB’ pala kami. This is PBB.” She also remembered their first group task and celebrating co-housemate Fred&#x27;s birthday. “Super saya nya.”  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Finding comfort in their fellow housemates</strong></div><p>When asked how seeing their closest friends made them feel at ease, Reich mentioned that she felt a sense of relief. As an introvert, she worried about making friends. “Seeing them there, I jumped and I screamed, ang ingay namin doon.” Waynona smiled and added that she observed how genuinely happy the girls were to see each other.  </p><p>Waynona also shared that she was already familiar with many personalities from both the Kapamilya and Kapuso sides, which helped her feel safe and look forward to having fun—even though she’s an introvert who easily gets drained in social settings. “But surprisingly, hindi nauubos ‘yung social battery ko inside [the house]. Ang saya lang kasi naging one big group talaga kami.”  </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Game plans before entering Bahay ni Kuya </strong></div><p>A question was raised to the two about whether they had set game plans before entering the “PBB” house. “For me, I just went with the flow and went with whatever,” Reich shared. “Kasi if I planned it, parang ako po ‘yung mahihirapan.” She explained that it would feel forced and not show her true self.  </p><p>Waynona agreed, saying she also went with whatever happens. “Inside the house, you can&#x27;t plan your day, kasi hindi mo alam kung anong gagawin n’yo, hindi mo alam kung anong mangyayari that day.” Every day inside the house was unexpected.  </p><p>Asked about their reaction to the second Collab Edition’s twists compared to the previous one, Waynona said it was very unexpected, especially with the group formats and the changing number of members each week.  “Super surprising, I thought it&#x27;s gonna be duo lang din.”  </p><p>Reich addressed that she thought of the same thing. “Akala ko duo lang. Nakita ko lang ‘yung announcement and I saw na anim sila [na members].” She was startled by the change and the many possibilities it opened.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Comparing their experience as housemates and as viewers</strong></div><p>The question “Nung naging housemate kayo, paano n’yo madi-differentiate ‘yung experience sa mga napanood n’yo from the previous season as casual viewer?” was asked next.</p><p>Waynona said it was very different. “As a viewer, akala mo madali lang. Kumbaga habang nanonood ka, ang dami mo nang naiisip na parang madali lang.” She added that the tension, tasks, and pressure were on another level. “Depende siguro sa kasama n’yo. [Sa amin,] I&#x27;m happy with our bond, I think that&#x27;s something different.”  </p><p>“Super different po talaga siya from what you see outside,” Reich reiterated. “’Yung mga task, ‘yung tension, ‘yung pressure andun talaga ‘pag gumagawa kayo ng group task. Ang hirap po talaga.”  </p><p>Reich learned how to communicate better. “Before, I wouldn&#x27;t know what to say. Pero now, it became a bit easier. It&#x27;s a learning process.” Waynona became more independent. “Kasi sa work natin, you have to be so independent. You can&#x27;t rely on anyone but yourself. You can only help yourself.” She said being independent helped her grow as a person and become more confident.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Most unforgettable moment during their stay</strong></div><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz8gWM8iRADsJr&amp;cid=ABr925Zp1Ub54SN3"></script></div><div><br/></div><p>Reich chose Caprice&#x27;s birthday as her most unforgettable moment, to which Waynona agreed.  “We were all running around. Everything was so chaotic,” Reich elaborated.  “We took polaroids also,” Waynona added. “Parang we were just hanging out after the challenges and tasks.  Parang ‘yun ‘yung naging rest day namin.”  </p><p>Following this, the two were asked if they had already watched clips of “PBB” after leaving Kuya’ house.  Giggling, Reich joked, “Gusto ko pong mag-hello kay Che-Ann!” referring to her viral clip from the first week where she mistakenly called housemate Carmelle “Che-Ann.” The Kapamilya star explained that she forgot Carmelle&#x27;s name and was shocked to see it became a meme.  </p><p>Waynona went on to say that she watched several fan-made edits of their moments together, reflecting on how fans highlighted their interactions.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Growing close with the housemates</strong></div><p>Waynona was posed a question about which Kapamilya housemate she was initially intimidated by but eventually grew close to. She said that when Kuya asked who she wanted to be close with, she answered Reich.  “Feel ko may same vibes kaming dalawa, and it&#x27;s true.”  She also mentioned Lella Ford. “I found her so cool, si Lella, and hindi ko in-expect na magiging close kami.” She admired Lella’s aura and the way she presented herself in front of the housemates.  </p><p>Reich, answering the same question but with Kapuso housemates, answered Waynona’s name, saying she never expected they would become close outside the house.  </p><p>When asked who their pillars were during the hardest times, Waynona answered Anton Vinzon and Joaquin Arce.  “’Yung kay Joaquin, nag-start siya nung naging weekly task leader kami.” The Kapuso artist shared that they had the same sentiments of blaming themselves and not wanting to disappoint housemates when they lost the task. “Super caring ni Joaquin, kinomfort niya ako instead.” With Anton, “Grabe, [he&#x27;s] super supportive,” she said, adding that everyone felt comfortable with him.  </p><p>Reich answered Krystal Mejes. “She’s always there and siya po unang nakakapansin if ‘di ka okay.” Krystal often asked about their well-being. “She knows the right words to say talaga.” </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Reflections on their “PBB” journey</strong></div><p>In reflecting on their “PBB” journey, Waynona expressed, “You did well, thank you for fighting and opening up,” while Reich followed with a short but heartfelt response: “I&#x27;m so proud of you.”</p><p>When asked to describe their “PBB” journey in one word, Reich said it was “amazing,” while Waynona described it as “eventful.” </p><p>Reich and Waynona&#x27;s journey inside Bahay ni Kuya was shorter than expected, but they truly captured our hearts by being their true, unapologetic selves--and we cannot wait to see more of what’s in store for them in the outside world.</p><p>Catch “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>PBB Collab 2.0</em></u></strong></a>” on Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), Pinoy Big Brother YouTube Channel, and <a href="https://app.iwanttfc.com/dFR6MWHAcVb" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>iWant</u></strong></a>!</p>
