Carmelle and Anton open the live production task, nominated housemates receive touching messages on “PBB Collab 2.0”

<p>An early gift awaited the nominated housemates in the continuation of the “Ready, Cassette, Go” special task, where they were challenged to catch cassette tapes that carried heartfelt messages from their loved ones.  </p><p>The November 27 episode of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2"><strong><u>&quot;Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0&quot;</u></strong></a> featured Heath Jornales receiving a touching message from his mom, Jem Jornales, who proudly spoke about his hard work inside Kuya’s house and his humility and loyalty as a friend, adding that when Heath loves, he loves deeply, and that’s something that truly makes him special. And then, the group’s buffed guy, Anton Vinzon, showed his softer side when he heard the voice of his father, veteran actor Roi Vinzon, who expressed how proud he is to have raised someone as strong-willed and resilient as Anton. </p><p>A loving message also came through for Carmelle Collado, whose mother, Neneth Collado, said she misses her so much and couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s shown so far, while over on Krystal Mejes’ end, aside from the unexpected reveal of her nickname being ‘Bulanglang,’ the rest of the housemates also got to hear the message from her mom, Lorie Mejes, who reminded Krystal to hold on to her dreams because no matter what happens, she will always have her mom’s love and support behind her. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jEtS2yy61Jo" title="Day 34: Mga nominado, napakinggan ang mensahe ng mga mahal sa buhay | PBB Collab 2.0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Marco Masa, the last among the nominated housemates to receive a message, was caught between holding it all together and letting the tears flow when he heard his mom Sol Masa’s voice, whose only wish is for him is to keep choosing joy in whatever experiences life throws his way. </p><p>Marco got the sweetest reminder from Mommy Sol, who said they don’t need a fancy life and that he doesn&#x27;t have to be the Big Winner because just seeing him inside Bahay ni Kuya is already their big win, and that they&#x27;re always proud of the family&#x27;s &quot;angel” (he will always be “Nathaniel”). </p><p>The emotions that Marco had been trying so hard to hold back finally spilled when he heard the voice of his older brother, Justine, who called him love. Later inside the confession room, Marco opened up about how, as a kid, he used to be scared of Justine’s tantrums simply because he didn’t know how to handle them, but thanks to parents’ patient guidance, he slowly learned how to understand his brother’s condition (Down syndrome). Even if Justine can’t express himself clearly through words, Marco understands him with his heart.  </p><p>Marco also shared that he sometimes feels guilty when he gets too caught up with work and misses out on spending time with Justine - he worries that his brother might think he doesn’t care, even though every single thing he’s working for is actually for him. </p><p>Moved, Big Brother commended Marco for being Justine&#x27;s rock even at a young age, and said that though the responsibility may sometimes be overwhelming and the days may get tiring, every small gesture of care Marco gives makes Justine feel just how deeply he’s loved. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GTcsSje7oXQ" title="Day 34: Marco, naging emosyonal sa sorpresa ng kapatid | PBB Collab 2.0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div><p>As the housemates geared up for the start of the live productions to be led and headlined by the six nominees, Carmelle opened the round of rehearsals, taking charge of her musical show and calling in the housemates to help her finalize the choreography. </p><p>Houseguest Ruru Madrid’s presence greatly helped in preparing for the first live shows. When he noticed Carmelle having difficulty explaining, he reminded the other housemates that they needed to listen to the leader. Ruru also gave input during the housemates’ rehearsal for Anton’s action-drama production. </p><p>Soon after, Big Brother announced that because the live shows also double as their fifth weekly task, they needed to win it. And to achieve that, the six live productions must reach a total peak of 200,000 live views. </p><p>And if yesterday Ruru was the one who helped the nominated housemates finish a task to secure messages from their loved ones, this time the housemates would help Ruru get a cassette tape with a message for him. This would be achieved if the task leaders managed to include Ruru in the first two live shows led by Carmelle and Anton. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Z0xhwIZz7Eg" title="Day 34: Ruru, nakasama sa live show nina Carmelle at Anton | PBB Collab 2.0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>With a theme anchored on dreams, Carmelle’s virtual mini concert titled “Ang Pangarap Ko’y Tagumpay” was the first to be shown among the six live productions the “PBB Collab 2.0” housemates will mount this week. </p><p>The show opened with all housemates in costumes, looking like a group of carefree kids playing outside as they sang “Kabataang Pinoy” in chorus. The mellow intro flowed into a livelier scene with housemates showing off old-school &#x27;larong kalye,&#x27; plus a surprise from houseguest Ruru Madrid who took over the song&#x27;s second verse before the cast ‘vibed’ hard in the rap part. </p><p>After the first song, Lee Victor came in to host together with Sofia Pablo. Following their playful banter, the rest of the housemates joined them as they welcomed back onstage the main character of the show, Carmelle, now looking every inch a star in a dazzling gold dress. </p><p>Carmelle was joined by Heath Jornales, who played the guitar accompaniment for the next song called “Kasama Ko Siya,” which she composed inside the house. The piece, centered on her faith, reflected her religious upbringing as someone who grew up close to the priests in her hometown diocese, and also expressed her belief that God is watching over her and the other housemates. It almost felt like a worship moment too, when Carmelle offered prayers of thanks during the instrumental part. </p><p>Through her mini concert, Carmelle also debuted her single “Ang Pangarap Ko’y Tagumpay,” which belongs to the album she had been working on before she entered the “PBB” house. Though admittedly nervous since people would be hearing the song for the very first time, it was such a fitting way to close the concert that shared the same title as the single. Towards the latter part of the performance, her friends Krystal Mejes and Eliza Borromeo stepped in as her backup dancers. </p><p>The concert wrapped with Carmelle thanking everyone for supporting her live show. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zp4oXEzhaV0" title="Day 34: Carmelle shows off her powerful voice on PBB live show | PBB Collab 2.0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Anton Vinzon turned the very thing that once broke him into his source of strength by delivering a powerful message against bullying during his live action-drama production on<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2"><strong><u> “PBB Collab 2.0.” </u></strong></a></p><p>The theater-like performance opened with a classroom scene where Anton, looking nervous and wearing a fake padded belly to show the time he was bullied for being stout, entered on his first day of school. He was accompanied by his parents, portrayed by Sofia Pablo and Miguel Vergara. Even if he was clearly scared, he told them he’d be okay, and then his father reminded him to keep an open heart and ignore anything negative he might hear.  </p><p>Before he could even sit down, the bullies played by Princess Aliyah, Rave Victoria, Joaquin Arce, Lella Ford, and Fred Moser started targeting him with mockery. Their insults grew harsher and eventually turned physical, leaving Anton in pain and apologizing (even though it wasn’t his fault) as he crouched on the floor. </p><p>Later on, when Anton’s father asked how he was doing, he tried to keep the truth by forcing a smile and insisting he was happy in his class and had already made friends. And the way he acted out that moment made the scene hurt even more.  </p><p>The bullying persisted in the days that followed, reaching a point where the bad guys poured water over him during break. The quiet girl in class, played by Caprice Cayetano, finally gathered the courage to approach him and handed him a handkerchief to wipe his face and hair. </p><p>Anton broke into song to express how captivated he was by Caprice’s kindness and beauty, only for the bullies to return and tell him no one would ever like him because of his physical appearance before attacking him again.  </p><p>Anton finally snapped as the bullies began mocking his family too. He shouted at them for the first time, with the exchange hinting that the bully was behaving that way because he was also broken inside and envied Anton for having a loving, complete family. Despite this, the beating continued until Caprice stepped in to defend him, getting caught in the chaos herself and nearly got hit by Rave, pushing Anton to find the strength to fight back and knock the leader down in a well-executed action sequence with Rave, Joaquin, and Fred. </p><p>Miguel entered the scene and found Anton exhausted and overwhelmed, unable to lift himself up, his mind and heart shattered by the bullying. For the first time, Anton opened up and asked for help, which his father met with a reminder that he&#x27;s never alone and that he will always have a family ready to guide and love him. </p><p>A surprise appearance from Ruru Madrid came in the latter part of the story. Wearing a black graduation robe and a medal, he offered Anton a hand and helped him rise. When Anton asked who he was, Ruru replied, &quot;Ako si Anton, sampung taon ang nakalipas mula sa araw na ito. Mula sa araw na gusto mo nang sumuko.&quot;  </p><p>Anton asked his future self how he managed to survive without giving up, and his future self told him, &quot;Kung kinaya ko, kayang-kaya mo rin,&quot; then placed the medal around Anton&#x27;s neck, symbolizing the beautiful life waiting for him. </p><p>Anton faced the camera to speak to his parents, thanking them for everything they had done—the sacrifices, the hard work, the love—and making a promise to give back someday.
