Uno (Joel Torre) gathers the guests at the resort’s banquet hall. He warns everyone not to attempt an escape, as armed men are stationed and scattered throughout the resort premises. He intimidates the crowd, declaring that the guests must remain in the hall, while the staff and crew will be seized in the stockroom. The staff---including Happy (Rubi Rubi), Smile (Rikki Mae Davao), Joy (Sophie Reyes), and Love (Inka Magnaye)---are taken there, all of them crying in fear. Love tries to assure the others that she knows ways to escape, but Happy reminds her of the danger it could bring them.   At the event hall, Dos (Marc Abaya) informs Uno that no one outside the resort premises is aware of the hostage situation yet---a sign that their plan is going well so far. “Kailangang matapos tayo dito sa loob ng dalawang araw,” Uno tells the younger man, adding that they should not stay any longer than that, as the police and outsiders might catch on.   Uno then steps onto the platform and orders the captives to surrender their phones to his men. Soon after, they are forced to wear blindfolds. “Kapag sumilip, patay! Dahil ang makakakita ng mukha namin, babarilin ko!” Uno threatens the crowd. Some guests, like Jabbas (Iñigo Jose), attempt to fight back, but he and his friends fail. Everyone is left with no choice but to obey. Their hands are later tied as well.   From the side, Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) shouts, “Ano ba talaga ang kailangan n’yo sa amin?” Uno replies that they want everything the guests have---especially their money.   Later, while guarding the area, Kwatro (Harvey Bautista) peeks inside the event hall and spots a familiar face among the captives, Jules (AC Bonifacio), a well-known social media personality.
