Lee Victor on Heath’s loyalty—plus what “PBB Collab 2.0” taught him about self-awareness

At first glance, Lee Victor might seem like your typical energetic housemate. He&#x27;s smiley, warm, and always ready to crack a joke. But as days passed in Bahay Ni Kuya, he revealed a deeper side to himself through the way he handled independence for the first time and took accountability for his missteps. &quot;I&#x27;m feeling fantastic,&quot; says the ex-<a href="https://pinoybigbrother.abs-cbn.com/">&quot;Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0&quot;</a> housemate when asked how he’s been doing since his <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/12/14/pbb-collab-2-0-housemates-double-heartbreak-as-they-fail-weekly-task-bid-farewell-to-i-igo-and-lee-0026">eviction,</a> where he didn’t expect to be welcomed by an overwhelming downpour of love and support, cheers, banners, and camera flashes, so different from the routine he had gotten used to with the housemates. <div> </div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0YPldwjzWK8" title="Lee Victor and Iñigo Jose | Kapamilya Chat" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div>&quot;There was a lot of sound, a lot of people. So parang, &#x27;Whoa! What is this?&#x27; We didn&#x27;t expect this,&quot; he describes the scene that greeted him outside the house right after his exit. &quot;Parang wala kaming naisip na idea because we don&#x27;t know what&#x27;s happening outside. It&#x27;s a good feeling of overwhelming.&quot;&quot;Pumasok ako sa bahay ni Kuya na wala talagang fanbase at all,&quot; he says, or maybe, he thought whatever following he had were mostly from his friendship with OG <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2">&quot;PBB Collab&quot;</a> housemate Charlie Fleming. But what he has now feels entirely different. &quot;That&#x27;s something I thought was impossible but because of [my supporters], parang it&#x27;s possible now. And I&#x27;m really happy for my lovely supporters. Parang sinabi ko sa kanila, &#x27;Kung wala kayo, walang Lee Victor.&#x27;&quot; But while Lee and fellow evictee Iñigo Jose stepped out to loud cheers, the ones they left behind inside the house were overwhelmed with tears. The housemates were heartbroken saying goodbye to the two of them. &quot;Honestly, ako hindi ko in-expect na gano&#x27;n &#x27;yung impact namin, &#x27;yung impact nu&#x27;ng pag-alis namin sa Bahay Ni Kuya would affect our housemates like that,&quot; he says. <div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/12/15/day-51-housemates-nalungkot-sa-pag-alis-nina-lee-at-i-igo-pbb-collab-2-0-1844">WATCH: Housemates, nalungkot sa pag-alis nina Lee at Iñigo </a></div>Lee thought his exit wouldn’t hit his housemates too hard, that they’d be able to move on easily. But what he saw instead was everyone feeling deeply hurt by his eviction, most especially his best friend, Heath Jornales. &quot;I was bawling my eyes when I saw Heath, he was so emotional. That&#x27;s the first time he cried in the house. And I was like, &#x27;Oh my goodness! The guy misses me!&#x27;&quot; he reacts, referring to the post-eviction episode where everyone, especially Heath, was seen crying after he left. Lee appreciated Heath even more after hearing him say he was willing to give up his spot for him. &quot;Honestly, I did not expect that,&quot; he smiles. &quot;That&#x27;s how you know when somebody loves you. That guy, he&#x27;s not just a tropa anymore, he&#x27;s a brother for life. I love that guy very much. I would do the same thing for him. I would go lengths for Heath.&quot;Another housemate he bonded with early on was Iñigo, who happened to be the first housemate he saw when they entered Bahay Ni Kuya—and, coincidentally, the same person he got evicted with. Iñigo was also his seatmate during the welcome dinner and the one standing next to him during their first task, where they had to form a human chain to deliver Fred Moser&#x27;s birthday cake from the dining area to the garden.&quot;Sabay kami pumasok ng grupo at kami rin ‘yung sabay lumabas,&quot; he laughs, also recalling how starstruck he felt when hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Luis Manzano welcomed them at the entrance. Because the housemates entered in batches, Lee came in at the same time as Iñigo, Lella Ford, and Caprice Cayetano—who later became some of his closest companions inside, so he&#x27;d like to call that first meeting &quot;a hint of the future.&quot;He got even more excited about forming a “new family” inside Bahay Ni Kuya when he spotted someone he already felt at home with—Joaquin Arce. &quot;I had already a close friend outside, si Joaquin. We&#x27;re already good friends. Nakita ko siya, &#x27;Oh, Joaquin!&#x27; tapos yakap.&quot; As a chess wizard, you’d think he would approach <a href="https://pinoybigbrother.abs-cbn.com/">&quot;PBB Collab 2.0&quot;</a> like a match and armed with a strategy, especially with a major win at stake. But in reality, he entered the house without any solid game plan other than to simply be himself.  &quot;Kung ano ‘yung nakikita ng mga tao sa labas, ‘yun din ‘yung makikita nila pagpasok. ‘Yung friendly, energetic, funny Lee Victor,&quot; though he never forgot that &quot;PBB&quot; is still a competition, he made a conscious choice to focus on enjoying the experience. &quot;Kasi this is just a once in a lifetime opportunity.&quot; It was actually his fellow Kapuso actor and houseguest Ruru Madrid who reminded him to just take it all in and have fun. &quot;Kuya Ruru told us na, &#x27;Enjoy lang kayo sa bahay.’ That moment clicked. Sabi ko, &#x27;Oo nga &#x27;no, mas mag-enjoy pa kayo ako?&#x27; And that really helped me.&quot;&quot;Hindi ako lumayo sa who I am. Hindi ako nagbago. Kasi ako pa ‘yung mahihirapan at mapapagod if I tried to switch it up,&quot; muses Lee, who, when asked about the best part of being a housemate, talks how he learned to be truly independent. &quot;Going in there, that&#x27;s a first-time experience for me. Kasi never ako pinayagan ng mom ko sa mga sleepovers or like hangout na parang matagal away from her. That&#x27;s the part where I have to be mature and I have to be independent,&quot; relates the teen star. &quot;All my life, umaasa ako sa mom ko. She&#x27;s the one who prepares my clothes bago kami umalis. Siya ‘yung naghahanda ng pagkain ko and she&#x27;s gonna set it on the dining table. Lahat ‘yun, I had to do it on my own [sa Bahay Ni Kuya]. I had to clean my own clothes. I had to shower for five minutes.&quot;&quot;Big adjustment really,&quot; he laughs, still amused at how he managed to survive the five-minute shower rule, when at home, he wouldn’t even step out of the bathroom in under an hour.But more than just how to cook his own food or speed through five-minute showers, beyond the surface-level adjustments came lessons that he will use as life compass from here on, especially the way Big Brother instilled in them the value of respecting house rules and responding with urgency when given a task, something a lot of Gen Zs might find relatable. As viewers may recall, the housemates were punished more than once for repeatedly breaking the house rules. &quot;Kung may pinapagawa sa&#x27;yo si Kuya, do it right away. Kasi, parang, there&#x27;s that thing na parang dapat hindi n&#x27;yo pinapahintay si Kuya. Hindi dapat si Kuya &#x27;yung mag-adjust sa&#x27;yo kundi kami ‘yung mag-a-adjust kay Kuya. Sense of urgency,&quot; he ponders. &quot;Tsaka, doesn&#x27;t mean that we&#x27;re housemates, sa amin na &#x27;yung bahay. It&#x27;s not bahay ng housemates, bahay &#x27;yun ni Kuya. We&#x27;re just living in his house with his batas. Bawal na bawal ilabag &#x27;yung mga batas ni Kuya. And, if we do, we have to face punishment and that&#x27;s the worst thing ever.&quot;In a house full of strong personalities, Lee came to understand that kindness isn’t always enough, that good intentions don’t always guarantee good outcomes. He says there&#x27;s a difference between intent and impact, &quot;Like, let&#x27;s say, my intentions are very mabait lang, walang malisya, pure, with love, pero, I don&#x27;t know what&#x27;s the impact of that with the other person. Baka &#x27;yung impact ko doon sa taong &#x27;yun, ang sama na pala ng feeling niya sa akin, parang, gigil na sa akin, parang, &#x27;I don&#x27;t want to talk to you anymore, please, you&#x27;re making me uncomfy.&#x27; That&#x27;s what I learned.&quot; For someone who’s naturally outgoing (hence his moniker “Ang Energetic Son-bassador ng Cavite”), that lesson became a turning point that made him more mindful not just of his words and actions, but of how others might receive it. &quot;You got to be super aware on what you say, what you do, your actions. Observe your surroundings. Baka, hindi mo alam because of sobrang kulit mo, may [na-o-offend] ka na housemate,&quot; imparts Lee. &quot;And you got to respect the opinions of other housemates because lahat nu&#x27;ng mga sinasabi ng housemates and their reasons are all valid. Kasi, I believe, we have the free will, the voice to speak up our problems. And, dapat hindi binabalewala. Kung anuman ang sabihin sa&#x27;yo, tanggapin mo with all your heart.&quot; When asked what he would say to the version of himself who lived inside the house, Lee answers, &quot;I would admire him a lot.&quot; Adjusting to one person is hard enough, but adjusting to nineteen housemates, each with their own needs and triggers, was a different level of challenge. And yet he tried.
