In the 16 years of fulfilling its sworn duty of making the madlang people happy, “It’s Showtime” has launched segments that absolutely got us entertained and laughing out loud. Among those is “Sine Mo ‘To”, which made its comeback early this March, eight years since it was last included in the well-loved noontime show’s lineup.

The said segment, which initially ran for five years from 2012 to 2017, is a sketch comedy that usually satirizes a variety of relevant topics, current events, trendy series or films, or popular personalities through the originally written, unique, and often comedic narrative launched every week. In each episode, at least two or three madlang live audience members are chosen to participate in the skits and are rewarded with a cash prize based on their performance.

And for its delightful return, viewers were taken to the awesome and unlikely adventures of the hosts playing different characters in "Soafer Latina: Ang Bagong Soafer Hero," which titular character was portrayed by none other than Vice Ganda. As we look forward to seeing the next story that will be featured in the well-liked segment, let us recall five of the most chaotic scenes that we’d witnessed in the said narrative in this edition of Kapamilya Update.

Let’s begin with that moment wherein Ogie Alcasid, an OPM icon and esteemed singer-songwriter, wasn’t able to mark himself safe from the “serum” of Vice, a.k.a. “Soafer Latina.” Instead of asking Lassy to only dab small amounts onto his face, Ogie even requested to apply a lot of it onto the different parts of his body—if that would mean getting paid higher than what he usually receives in each episode.

Ate Girl Jackie Gonzaga also wasn’t able to escape from the Unkabogable Star’s playfulness as she heeded her instruction to “swim” onstage as if she was grooving to her signature dance “Water.” Since Jackie seemed to have failed to impress “Soafer Latina,” the latter asked Darren Espanto to “dive” into the small basin, to which he willingly obliged and nailed it while dancing to his own song “Bibitaw Na.”

Dynamic comedy duo MC and Lassy then had their “alarma” moment when their co-hosts joined forces to hold them in both arms and legs and tossed them back and forth in the air one by one. They even accidentally destroyed the couch displayed onstage that was used as a prop when they tried to lay Lassy there.

In another episode, “Soafer Latina” showed off how powerful she is by utilizing her superpowers to magnetize the noontime program’s floor director, Ervin “Dumbo” Plaza, and throw him to Ogie, who was sitting on the couch at the time.

And lastly, aside from having a couple of madlang people onstage with them, another surprise guest showed up, and it was none other than viral TikToker Arman Salon, who turned out to be the owner of the beauty salon where the characters of Vice, Lassy, and MC were working. He indeed made the skit extra fun with his presence and his impressive acting and comedic chops.
