<p>Charo Santos-Concio, multi-awarded media executive and actress, was recently honored with a Parangal ng Sining Lifetime Achievement award by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) for her invaluable contributions to the country’s film industry.</p><p>Charo, former president and CEO of ABS-CBN Corporation, was recognized for being a beacon of excellence, integrity, and innovation and for helping take Filipino storytelling to new heights.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1744715319346FDCP-honors-Charo-Santos-Concio-with-Lifetime-Achievement-award.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>In a social post, the FDCP described Charo’s career through the years. &quot;Her remarkable journey—from a celebrated actress to a pioneering producer and transformative media executive—has redefined storytelling and elevated Filipino cinema to new heights.
