And we’re able to see it not just in real life but also in movies and teleseryes, such as in &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/savinggrace">Saving Grace: The Untold Story</a>.&quot;As the series features various faces of motherhood, we have not only seen touching moments between a mother and her child but also ferocious clashes between moms vying for a child they both claim is theirs. Helena and Antonio have been best friends since their childhood, when they both resided in Palawan. Unbeknownst to him, Helena had harbored unrequited love towards him; thus, the strong bond they had suddenly got wrecked when he got into a romantic affair with Miranda, which absolutely devastated Helena. That’s why Helena did everything in order to ruin their relationship and keep them away from each other—and she succeeded since it was her whom Antonio chose in the end after he got her pregnant.  From competing for the news reporter post in NTV to being rivals for the love and attention of Antonio, the contention between Miranda and Helena continues at present as they go head-to-head for Anna (Julia Montes).  Right on the very first time that they’d cross paths again ever since the last time that they came face to face, Miranda and Helena immediately had an intense confrontation. Unlike in the past, when she just kept her mouth shut as Helena hurled piercing words at her, Miranda already mustered the courage to fight back and stand for herself and the truth.  They had another scorching spat when Miranda confronted Helena with regard to the real parentage of Anna, after she discovered through a private investigation that she conducted that Anna was only adopted by Antonio and Helena. However, Helena strongly insisted that she’s indeed Anna’s real mom since she’s the one who raised, nurtured, and took good care of her. It was succeeded by another gripping face-off between them, wherein they didn’t just have a brutal exchange of words but of slaps as well. As Miranda finally confirmed that Anna was indeed her daughter, whom she was forced to give up for adoption right after she gave birth to her, she accused Helena and Antonio of stealing Anna away from her. But Helena told her that they got Anna from an orphanage, and it was such a preposterous idea that a person of good reputation like Miranda would leave her own child. As Miranda threatened to put herself and Anna through a DNA test, Helena wasn’t able to feign her fear about Anna’s true identity being unveiled. Miranda went on to lambast Helena about taking both Antonio and Anna away from her and even called her “ilusyonada,” or delusional, but the latter asserted that it was her whom Antonio had chosen.  Following the malicious live interview of Ashley (Aya Fernandez) with Sarah (Jennica Garcia) that vilified Anna, Helena infuriatingly came to NTV and chastised Miranda. In return, Miranda reproached her for making Anna feel and think that it was she who should be blamed for the demise of Antonio, as well as refused to tell her anything she knows regarding the whereabouts of Anna and Grace (Zia Grace). As Helena told her to not deny her of her right to be with her child, Miranda retaliated by saying, “Buong buhay na kasama siya ang pinagkait mo sa’kin, Helena, kaya huwag mo akong pagsasalitaan. Anak? Bakit, naging mabuting ina ka ba sa kanya?” And lastly, the two mothers of Anna had a heated sumbatan with regard to the love they’ve been pouring on her. With Helena asserting that she genuinely loves Anna and that she never blamed her for what happened to Antonio, Miranda strongly vowed to do everything to remove all the pent-up ill feelings that Anna has felt through the years.  Is there going to be a chance for Miranda and Helena to patch things up between them?
