15 times Gab’s pain came out in fights with Philip and Shari in “Incognito”

Gab Rivera (Maris Racal) has never been the type to stay quiet when something doesn’t sit right with her, and in &quot;Incognito,&quot; that fire has come out more than once in her confrontations with her father Philip (Joel Torre) and his new partner Shari (Emmanuelle Vera). Ever since uncovering her father’s shady business dealings, and following the death of her mother, which she blames on Philip and Shari&#x27;s affair, Gab has refused to let things slide, especially whenever Shari tries to claim space that she believes doesn’t belong to her. Here’s a look back at all the heated scenes where Gab confronted them in &quot;<a href="http://incognito.abs-cbn.com">Incognito</a>.&quot; This Kapamilya Toplist video opens with Gab storming into Philip’s house, furious over his alleged involvement in the disappearance of several sabongeros or cockfight enthusiasts. Philip denied having anything to do with any kind of cover-up, and insisted that he never killed anyone, although he did admit that his gambling operations are illegal. Things escalated when he brought up how Gab shouldn’t criticize the very business that once sustained her and claimed that &#x27;utang na loob&#x27; or debt of gratitude is something she would have to carry for the rest of her life. Gab fired back with words that stung, saying she would have rather died along with her mother than be indebted to him forever, a statement that hit Philip so hard he ended up shooing her out of the house. In a lighter but still chaotic moment, Gab once again showed up at Philip’s doorstep, this time, to get Tomas (Anthony Jennings) after his failed attempt to “kidnap” her dogs for her. The dogs were precious to her, being gifts from her late mother, and Gab was determined to get them back by any means, so she paid Tomas to sneak into her dad’s house and retrieve them. Philip, unaware of the plan, mistook Tomas for a thief and held him captive, but quickly released him after learning it was all Gab’s doing. In the middle of it all, Philip couldn’t help but ask if Tomas is his daughter’s boyfriend, to which Gab replied in classic Hiligaynon sass, “Kalaw-ay,” which means “ugly.” Gab&#x27;s vocabulary got more intense, though, when she walked in on Philip and Shari being sweet with each other. She looked completely disgusted at how her father could openly flirt with the woman she still refers to as a mistress, especially in the same house that once held the memories of her parents’ love. Enraged, Gab didn’t hold back and questioned how Philip and Shari could live with themselves, acting so shamelessly right in front of her. The next scene sheds more light on the weight behind Gab’s &quot;bitterness.&quot; Just as she was about to leave, Shari followed her outside to talk, suggesting that Gab go abroad for a while to rest and finally move on, especially since it had already been five years since her mother’s death. But Gab wasn’t about to let that slide so easily. Instead, she confronted Shari head-on and tried to rattle her conscience by placing the blame for her mother’s death on her. She reminded her that her mother was devastated upon finding out about the affair between Philip and Shari, to the point that it led to the accident that took her life. For Gab, that’s a reason enough to say that Shari has no right to tell her when or how to move on, because she’s just a living reminder of everything her mother had suffered. And with no hesitation, Gab told her father’s mistress-turned-partner, “Go to hell.” Gab’s anger boiled over once again when she found out that Philip and Shari had sold their family’s rest house—the only tangible memory she has of her mother, who once received it as an anniversary gift from Philip. Even before her father could explain, it was Shari who spoke up first, saying the property was just going to waste. That was enough for Gab to declare that she would buy the house back herself, a promise Shari scoffed at before sarcastically asking if Gab even had thirty million to her name. But Gab didn’t flinch and quickly shut her down, telling her to keep quiet because her opinion doesn’t matter. Gab wasn’t about to back down when she returned to Philip’s house bringing a partial payment for the rest house, determined to buy it back herself, but before she could even get her point across, Shari cut in once again, insisting that she had already found a buyer and it would be embarrassing to withdraw the offer. Not having any of it, Gab shut her down by slamming the bundles of cash one by one in front of her, telling her to stop talking because she wasn’t even the one being spoken to. It was only after that confrontation that Gab was finally able to let out the emotions she had been holding in for so long, in a private conversation with her father, where Philip admitted that he had indeed hurt Gab’s mom in the past but said he hope they could start again, this time with Shari in their lives, which is something Gab firmly said she would never be able to accept. She made it clear that she, too, had been hurt by everything that happened, because whatever pain her mother went through, she carried as well. And while Philip tried to explain that he and Gab’s mom were already separated when his relationship with Shari began, it didn’t change anything for Gab, who reminded him that her mother was heartbroken and still loved him until the very end. At that point, Gab asked him to choose between her and Shari, but Philip said he couldn’t because he loves them both. Still, Gab stood her ground and insisted that Shari doesn&#x27;t truly love him back and that what she&#x27;s after is his money which Philip refused to believe. With the way things were going between Gab and Shari, it was only a matter of time before tensions boiled over again, and it just so happened to take place after a yoga session. It started quietly, with Gab throwing in some sarcasm about how yoga is supposed to be about finding balance, yet here was Shari, the one who had caused so much imbalance in other people’s lives. Shari responded by saying she understood where Gab’s anger was coming from, though she felt Gab&#x27;s truth doesn&#x27;t fully capture her side of the story. She admitted that she loves Philip’s money because she genuinely likes expensive things, but insisted that her love for him is real. Gab, of course, didn’t buy any of it and simply laughed it off, clearly unmoved by Shari’s attempt to defend herself. Tired of the endless pain caused by the situation with her dad and “stepmom,” Gab, in another scene, pleaded with her father to just let her go, begging him to forget that she even existed and allow her to quietly move on with only the memories of her mother to hold onto. But Philip wouldn’t give her what she asked for.
