From her memorable start as a teen housemate on &quot;Pinoy Big Brother Otso&quot; to becoming one of her generation’s most promising actresses, Kaori Oinuma has truly come a long way. Through the years, fans have watched her grow, both in showbiz and in life. So, for a little &#x27;life update&#x27; session, Kaori took on the “Untold Questions” Challenge on Kapamilya Chat, where she picked random life questions from a set of cards and answered them with all her heart.When asked what she’s most proud of, Kaori talked about her independence, which she had to learn early on after moving from Japan to the Philippines at 18 to join “PBB Otso.” She shared, “Since lumaki ako na palaging may bantay, malaking achievement na sa akin &#x27;yung kaya ko nang magdesisyon for myself.”Living solo suits her introverted personality, she said, because it allows for quiet me-time with just books, a good series, and her cats. But it also comes with its own challenges such as having no one to take care of her when she&#x27;s sick, unlike when she has her mom around. She also admitted that living alone sometimes makes her feel sad, “Kasi ‘pag may kasama kang pamilya, may sumasalubong sa&#x27;yo, &#x27;Welcome home, anak.&#x27; Pero ngayon wala.” Still, whenever she needs guidance, she knows her mom is just one call away.As part of independent living comes making smart choices. So when she pulled the next card that asked which between the heart and mind she follows more, Kaori replied that it really depends on the situation. The key is finding the right balance.The next card prompted her to pick between having lots of money but no time, and lots of time but no money. Kaori reflected on how both have value, saying that while money can buy happiness to some extent, time with loved ones is priceless. And finally, when asked if she believes in second chances, the “Untold” actress didn’t hesitate to say “yes,” explaining that if God can forgive, then humans should, too. “Hindi naman ako bato para isara &#x27;yung doors ko, for example, sa mga taong nakasakit sa akin. I always choose forgiveness,” she said.
