Sue Ramirez talks about her favorite co-star and the icon she dreams of working with!

While Sue Ramirez always brings her A-game on-screen, it’s her unfiltered, no-holds-barred personality off-cam that fans can’t get enough of. Brutally honest and effortlessly funny, she’s never afraid to speak her mind. So when Kapamilya Chat lined up a few games for Sue, the “Drink It” Challenge was the perfect choice. Here, she faces a set of questions, and she&#x27;ll have to take a mystery drink if she chooses not to answer.  The first question Sue picked prompted her to choose between her showbiz career or pursuing another business. She shared that while she’s not closing any doors, showbiz is currently her life. The &quot;In Between&quot; actress then gave a deep and sincere response when asked which part of her past she would revisit. She recalled how her dad got sick (he suffered a stroke) when she was only six years old, and the complications lasted for 11 years, which made it hard for her to fully understand the situation. “My dad was growing old but I was also growing up. I didn’t understand the situation at home, na may pasyente kami. Sobrang awkward ng situation sa bahay,” she revealed, with traces of the innocence of six-year-old Sue, now mixed with maturity and perhaps a hint of regret. If she could go back, she would have talked to her dad more often. If Sue could give a message to her younger self, she would teach her that it’s not the end of the world if things don’t go her way. “Hukay ka nang hukay tapos wala kang nakikita, so nag-give up ka na, pero nando’n na pala ‘yung treasure, isang hukay mo na lang sana,” she explained, comparing it to the idea that sometimes, you just need to keep going, because success might be just one step away. For Sue, part of life is realizing that what you thought was meant for you might not be, and that’s okay. “Basta continue ka lang.” The young Sue was also insecure about her looks, so she would tell her younger self, “Ang ganda mo.” It’s true what they say, that a woman’s confidence really grows with age. Thanks to her confidence, Sue is no longer affected by online bashing. She knows her core so well that nothing really bothers her anymore. However, she finds it weird when people speculate she’s pregnant every time she gains weight. &quot;Sige, go, oo na lang,&quot; she said in jest. Now, you might think Sue would just pick a mystery drink when asked about her favorite co-actor, especially with so many to choose from. But even though she found it hard to pick just one, Sue mentioned Kaye Abad, her co-star from the Kapamilya series “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2024/11/26/throwback-annaliza-2013-1650">Annaliza</a>.” She feels Kaye was part of her growing years as an actress, and she has so much admiration for her. &quot;Ang ganda niya tapos ang galing niya. &#x27;Yung career niya, ang ganda ng path talaga. Ever since, very consistent talaga,&quot; she said of Kaye. And if there’s one actress she feels intimidated by, it would be Maricel Soriano. But even though intimidated, she still dreams of working with the Diamond Star one day.
