They say moms are superheroes in their own right. From juggling countless responsibilities to giving unconditional love, mothers truly do it all. But sometimes, we can’t help but imagine what it would be like if they had actual superpowers to make their lives a little easier. After all, if a special ability could take away even a bit of the challenges that come with motherhood, why not, right?As we celebrate and honor moms all over the world this Mother&#x27;s Day 2025, the &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition</a>&quot; evictees shared what kind of superpower they’d give their own moms if they had the chance.Kira Balinger believes one extraordinary skill that could come in handy for her mom is telepathy. With this special ability, mothers could instantly know what their children are feeling or needing, especially during times when it&#x27;s hard to open up. It&#x27;s like a communication shortcut, but with love and understanding at the center. AC Bonifacio thought the same thing, saying that if her mommy had a mystical capability, it would be all about reading her mind. “Alam na niya &#x27;yung nararamdaman ko before I even tell her,” she said. They say moms are blessed with psychic sense (they just know when you&#x27;re lying!), but it would be even more powerful with a little telepathic boost.When it comes to moms&#x27; love language, nothing says it better than a home-cooked meal. Moms have a special magic in the kitchen. But some recipes are just hard to crack, especially when they have elusive secret ingredients. That’s why Charlie Fleming would like to bless her mom with the instinct to instantly know the exact ingredients in any dish. “So when she tastes a dish, she would know the ingredients of how it was made,” she thought. Well, moms would definitely prepare five-star meals at home if they had this talent. We can all agree that a mother&#x27;s patience is like a superhuman trait all on its own. Michael Sager thinks so too. In fact, he believes his mom is already a superwoman in her own right. “Because she can handle me,” he chuckles. “Napaka-kulit ko no’ng bata ako, pilyo, lagi akong nauuntog.” From there, he thought his mom could use a gift to heal him from all the &#x27;bukol&#x27; he got as a kid. It’s funny but also a sweet reminder of those days when we believed a simple kiss from mom could magically take all the pain away. And if patience is already a feat, imagine raising multiple human beings while juggling everything else in life. For Emilio Daez, his mom’s ability to raise nine children has been nothing short of a hidden superpower. “I don’t know how she did it ‘til this day,” he says. “I thank my lucky stars that my mom was able to raise me and my siblings into decent, respectful human beings.” He sincerely adds, “I just can’t thank her enough. I love her so much.”With or without superpowers, moms continue to be our real-life heroes. And just like any hero, they deserve their own spotlight and standing ovation this Mother’s Day.
