For sure, many will agree that being a mother is the toughest job in the world. Some of us may tend to not notice it, but our moms do a lot of behind-the-scenes work every day that requires them to be available almost 24/7 just to be able to take good care of us, attend to our needs, and make sure that everything is alright in the household. And they do all of these without getting paid monetarily, yet only fueled by the unconditional love they have for their spouse and child/ren, making them truly deserving to be hailed as the “unsung heroes” of our lives. While they already possess the incredible strength that they need for them to be able to fulfill their duties as moms, it seems that they also have in them unique ‘superpowers’ that only we, their children could probably see or experience. With Mother’s Day coming up, we asked a few of our favorite Kapamilya celebrities regarding the special ‘superpowers’ that their beloved moms are likely to have, and they enthusiastically imparted them through the clips that we’ve collated in this exclusive video!Let’s begin with “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/timetodance" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Time To Dance</a>”’s Ken San Jose and Gela Atayde, who expressed their appreciation to their moms by flexing what they think are their extraordinary abilities. For Ken, he thinks that her mom can do teleportation because she comes to his side every single time that he needs and calls her. Gela, on the other hand, assumes that her mom, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, can fly, for she’s still able to do other things, like working and traveling, although she already has a lot of things on her plate. “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11</a>” 2nd Big Placer Rain Celmar also had the same response with Ken, since her mom also always arrives by her side whenever she needs her. His mom’s ability to radiate passion to him made CJ Navato think that it is her superpower, for the extra passion she gives him motivates him to keep doing better in his craft. It’s almost the same for Kyle Echarri, who imparted that his selfless Mama’s gift to empower other people is what he thinks is her ultimate power. ASAP New Gen Supah Dancer Jeremy Glinoga wasn’t able to hide how proud he is of his mom, whose superpower is to become ageless. Going through her old pictures, he related that nothing has apparently changed in her physical features, to which a lot of people around them agreed. Iñigo Pascual, on the other hand, showed his appreciation to his Mommy Donnabelle by imparting that he finds it delightful that she cleans his room and prepares his food everyday, which are her superpowers that he missed experiencing when he tried living on his own. While “Tawag ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak” champion Marko Rudio kept his response short and simple by saying that “unconditional love” is his mom’s ultimate gift, his fellow TNT grand winner, Lyka Estrella of Year 6, dubbed her mom as “Wonderwoman” due to the inspiring strength that she exuded when she raised her singlehandedly and supported her until she made it to where she is at present. Sue Ramirez was also raised by a certified “super mom” because of her awe-inspiring dedication in taking good care of her and her four other siblings while also attending to their sick dad. Dustine said that it would be a long life for his mom, while Elijah wished for her mom the power of not getting tired since she also works every day. They may not have any magical stones or anything to give them supernatural powers, but the unwavering strength they radiate and the genuine love have for us are already enough for them to become our “superheroines”!
